I came in with an important, last-minute project. I needed an oddly sized poster framed as a present. Kent Studios got the framing done well and quickly — and they were incredibly friendly to boot. And their prices are great as well. This is my new go-to framing place.

I’ve been having artworks framed here for many years. I call Kathy the Frame Whisperer, because she has such a good eye. It’s amazing what the proper frame can do for the appeal of anything that requires a finishing touch. I am puzzled by the reviewer who said«too pricey», because their prices are way below other framers I’ve investigated.

There may be better framing stores out there, but Kent has to be one of the best. A former resident of the old Clifton Heights Bazaar, Kent Studios has been in the Holmes location since the former closed back in the 90s. I’ve been taking my prints to Kent since the early 90’s and have found they do good work, relativly quickly. Their selection of frames and matts is outstanding, and I have always found just what I am looking for. Just recently, I had an odd sized print I wanted framed. After, trying in vain, to find a standard sized frame for it, I decided to take the print to 2 of the local ‘arts and crafts’ stores, which always have coupons for 50% off framing. These stores each, gave me a quote of more than $ 80(at the discounted price) for a 15×17(bamboo design) frame with normal glass. The price at Kent’s was $ 43, with tax. It took 2 weeks to frame, but it was worth the wait. Be warned, around the holidays, the wait for framing can be long, but it’s worth the effort, and the cash savings.
