Well, the buying process was great. Tim was great. But going to pick up this mattress as a solo female was definitely a mistake. Apparently it’s «against store policy» for them to help you tie the mattress to your roof. Even though I said I’d take responsibility if the thing fell off my roof on my (1 mile) drive home, the guy at the loading dock refused to help me. They don’t even have a waiver you can sign taking liability in the event that something happened.
I literally had to wait in the loading dock (while watching the two men who were working at the loading dock chat and smoke cigs three feet from the open entrance to the store) until someone I knew could get off work and drive to the store to help me put the mattress on my roof.
Great «customer service.»

I have had two bad experiences with Raymour & Flanigan. My first was buying a dinning room table and four chairs. The table has a leaf however you need four people to add or take the leaf out its that difficult to open or close. The four chairs thats another story so uncomfortable the back of the chairs curved and the seat was low I finally threw them in the trash. That was 11 years ago but I thought I would give another try so I bought a sofa about 8 months ago so disappointed when it arrived the back 3 pillows were so stuffed as well as the side pillows omg so stiff I unzipped the pillows and it was so plump I took out half of this green stuffing which looks like cotton candy in pieces put in trash bag the sofa is very uncomfortable my husband hates it and I put up with it. Also it was sprayed with a stain protection that the salesman said he would give us courtesy it smelled for about 2 months strong smell.

The good part is that they have a lot of the stuff you may see in the stores, but a little scuffed or nicked or stained; some of it is just from overstock, or specialty orders gone wrong, and it all looked in pretty good condition.
The not as good is that there is no delivery from the clearance center, so if you want it you gotta get it home. For us and our subcompact, we decided to bide our time and wait for the regular store’s sales rather than try to figure out getting a dining set back into the city. But the staff were very nice and the show room pretty well organized.
