Took my son there for his birthday dinner. Disappointing. We had a party of 4. The beet salad was ordered, no walnuts as described in the menu and it was very tiny salad for $ 10. Server said she would let the manager know who came over and said«the kitchen staff forgot to order walnuts, we have none». Sounds like a personal problem to me. No reduction of the bill, no comp, nothing. The olive oil with the bread was a saucer with a tiny amount(we had 4 people). Just put a bottle on the table! We had two big guys that eat a lot of bread and it was hard to get the oil refilled. I specifically mentioned it was my son’s birthday and no recognition of that by server. How about a scoop of ice cream or something? It was hard to get dishes removed from the small table. Entrees were pretty good, but server was only ok. We have had catered parties there before and the experience was good. But individual dining experience was less than satisfactory.

It is very unfortunate that this resturant does not honor our 2nd Amendment rights by posting the no carry sign on their INNER front door. Good is good but service is so so. Portion size is very large. Will not go back unless their policy changes

Went to Suparossa on 4÷2÷16. Having read the less than flattering reviews, I was prepared for the worst. Not sure what everyone else experienced but our visit was great. We went to see a friend’s music duo perform so we sat in the bar. The service was very good. Our server was very attentive. My wife had the Biagio Chicken Vesuvio & I had the Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce. The food was quite good. While we were there, one of the managers, Mike, came by several times too ask how we were doing. All we could say was that everything was beyond our expectations. I told him that having read the reviews on Unilocal that we were expecting the worst but were very pleased with our experience. So, to all you so-called restaurant critics out there, all I can say is, well, I can’t say it here…

Not thrilled. Pizza’s were pricey for what they offer and sauce was too sweet for our looking. Been twice and tried both thin and deep dish… neither were great

We had a wonderful, memorable, delicious evening celebrating my daughter’s 15th birthday. Thank you to everyone at Suparossa from Mike who cheerfully accommodated all our requests to Pedro for the excellent and friendly service. We have had many memories here and will continue to do so.

Worst service and food ever. Service was slow. Only 4 others in the restaurant on a Friday night when I was dinning there. Food was cold and tasted bad. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. $ 55.00 was my bill for 2 people. Never again. Do not waste you time going here. I warned you.

This restaurant is a total failure. Here is a short list of what went wrong: 1. The menus are filthy 2. My wife HATED her mushy, eggplant parmesan — it looked and tasted like baby food 3. My pasta dish had ingredients that weren’t listed on the menu 4. They charged us MORE for dishes then what the menu stated($ 16 on menu $ 18 on bill) 5. The manager couldn’t care less about our experience My wife complained to the manager about the menus and the disgusting food, and he replied with«we are getting new menus next week»(so why bother cleaning the current ones, right?) and«that’s just how we make it»(well then, fire your chef, because he sucks). I’m not sure how this place is still open.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night a little after 6pm, and we were seated right away which was nice. The décor was pleasant, however we could hear the noise from the bar at our table. Our drink orders were taken right away, and we also placed an order for an appetizer off their specials menu. It was delivered quickly, however it was slightly cold, which was disappointing as it was a 4 Cheese Bruschetta that was obviously previously warmed. It was still pretty tasty, but if it was appropriately warm and fresh it would have been fantastic. For my meal I ordered the Risotto Funghi(Mushroom Risotto), and it was just OK. It wasn’t bad, but the mushrooms were smaller than I’d hoped for a meal of mushrooms, and it had a very black pepper forward flavor. My husband ordered Alfredo pasta with Shrimp which was also just OK. The sauce was nothing spectacular, and while the shrimp were a good size, they had a pretty fishy taste to them which I thought was strange for shrimp. Overall, we may come back to try a pizza, but we won’t be running back to have more pasta/risotto dishes. One last thing I should mention is that our server was fantastic; I don’t recall her name, but she was very attentive, and all other employees we met were very helpful.

Great food! Love their wood fired oven pizzas! Especially prochutto and arugula! Very pleased with the service as well!

Right as we walked in, the manager at the front seat told my friend and I we arrived just in time because a «hockey team and their moms from hell» just left. She said«I’ve never wanted to smack someone so bad.» I found that highly inappropriate. But being Valentine’s Day weekend, my friend and I decided to stay since there was no wait time. That should have been our first red flag. The same manager proceeded to yell at her staff in front of us — also inappropriate and unprofessional. It took ten minutes before anyone even came to our table to ask if we wanted anything. My beet salad had no dressing and was so tiny! And my shells and cheese was laughable. We laughed at it. It was swimming in mozzarella cheese — almost inedible. I would give one star, but our waiter was good. Oh and the bread was ok.

In a word-don’t. From the mediocre(at best) food to the inattentive(and at times, oblivious) service, this place is an overpriced inadequacy waiting to be replaced by an offering that knows how to run a restaurant in a superior location. I used to go here when it was much better-it isn’t, now. We had the fried calamari as an app(mediocre) and then made the mistake of choosing a bland and overly dressed caesar salad-with not a HINT of anchovy! The evening was topped(?) by one of the attempted consumption of on of the most uninspired offerings of a Pizza Florentine I have ever had. Cardboard-like, the spinach had been added apparently as the pizza LEFT the oven-it wasn’t even wilted. Wow. To make matters worse, our server was reminded on THREE occasions to pick up our finished plates, twice for bread and twice for water. Staff was observed milling about the dining area with apparently little direction or duty in mind-and they walked by numerous diners who were obviously in the same boat as our party-all looking for service of SOME kind, just not the poor choice we were given. For four of us equally dissatisfied diners, the bill was $ 90-and all attending had soda! Need I say more? I can easily recommend a dozen Italian restaurants superior to this one-most of which you will pay less for their superiority. Don’t go-or like me, don’t come back.

I haven’t been to Suparossa in years(like 10)! I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. We were sat quickly without a wait in a comfortable booth. They have a decent craft beer list and wine list. The menu has been updated since I last dined there with plenty of traditional and not-so-traditional Italian options. My husband had a pasta with a spicy red sauce and I had the sweet potato gnocchi with butternut squash. Both were unique and tasty. A little on the expensive side but we’ll definitely be back.

Had an OK experience from my first time ordering take-out from this location. We placed an order for a Large thin crust, pepperoni, spinach, and garlic pizza. We left on time to pick it up, the woman on the phone had mentioned it’ll be ready in 35 – 40 minutes. So we planned accordingly. Once we got there, my boyfriend ended up getting it and I had figured since it was take out, it would be ready by the time we arrived. Well I ended up sitting in the car for 15 minutes, wondering what was going on. He came back empty-handed and I questioned what was happening. He said that as soon as the pizza was done, which was as soon as we got there. A lady packed it for delivery. The delivery guy left and took our pizza just as we arrived, and then we ended up having to wait another 15 minutes, so all together half an hour. They ended up taking 20% off of our total, so we felt better. But we were starving and we had to be somewhere. The pizza was either super delicious or more so, we were starving and needed something in our stomachs. My boyfriend was a bit upset due to the fact, that they were not keeping him in the loop with things. And the manager, was not making any eye-contact or any form of communication with us.

The atmosphere was the best part. The waitress we had seemed unsure of herself but she was nice. It took us very long to get our soup and salad. Granted, there were multiple large party dinners. Food was okay, my salmon was a tad overcooked. My boyfriend ordered a seafood dish and when it arrived(30 seconds after we had just begun eating our soup and salad) he noticed some of his clams were completely empty. We told the waitress and the manager stepped in and asked him if maybe they had fallen out. Obviously we checked and that was not the case. He brought out a plate with more clams and apologized. It was apparent he wanted to personally fix any issue since we never asked to speak to a manager. He was very polite to stick around and chit chat with us for a while instead of just saying sorry and walking away. The rest of the food was great and I would still recommend this place when it’s not crowded and the staff is frantic.

The first time I ordered from this place the sauce content was very watery and the garlic bread had extreme amount of garlic you could not even eat a hole piece to enjoy it. Instead of compensating the food they gave me an 8 $ credit. I decided to give them a second chance and the guy in the. Phone was very confused placing a simple order when I told him multiple times what my order was. I want to apply my 8 $ credit from last time however it was not found. $ 57.00 and an hour later the food arrived all the orders were wrong and they forgot the third order and charged us for it. After calling them back to talk to the manager about my Order he said he would remake the order however he did not apologize for his employee mistake what so ever. I got the soup with my Meal and the soup had less than an oz of broth and beans and noodles that’s about it. There is a reason they Parking lot is never crowed and this place is going under the staff is lazy and clearly don’t about customer service make note not to order from here

I had Veal Marsala on my mind and they deliver so I gave them another try. I’m glad I did. Unfortunately when my meal was delivered, they’d put in chicken rather than veal. My husband called about the mistake and they actually redelivered the correct meal free of charge. And on a busy Saturday night too. The Veal Marsala was good and my husband enjoyed the Italian Beef sandwich he ordered. I’m going to try eating at the restaurant again soon, because it is very family friendly!

We have ordered our lunch to office here. Delivery took around 35 – 40 min. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Portions are super large! I’ve got lunch for two days. I like their sandwiches more than pizza although it is Italian restaurant. Prices are a bit higher than average but affordable. This place is definitely good to order lunch. I haven’t been here but I’m going to visit Suparossa soon. Wait for update :)

Reserved a private room for 50 adults for a buffet luncheon for a baptism. After 15 people got there food the food ran out! Over Half our guests waited the in buffet line for over 20 min. They replenished the food once. After I asked the manager what we can do to resolve this he said«I’m not bringing any more food out» It was embarrassing to my wife and I. I’ve never seen anything like this before. For desert they threw small paper plates on the table. Do not eat here or plan any events. They are unreliable, unorganized, unprofessional.

First time trying this place even though they are in the biking distance from my house. My sister-in-law was in town and wanted to try some Italian food. I wanted some nice bruschetta and Chicken vesuvio. So we ended up here. I didn’t realize this place is huge till I walked in. Nice rustic decoration. We got Trio appetizer(Bruschetta, Calamari, and fried Mozzarella), Bone in Chicken vesuvio, Italian beef sandwich, spaghetti with meatballs, and Meat Ravioli. The complimentary bread and dipping sauce were very nice. I liked my Bruschetta which tasted right and not overly salty. Kids liked the fried Calamari and cheese. The dishes were going downhill from here or I was not hungry any more. The vesuvio had the right sauce and rice. Even the chicken had a good seasoning. The problem was the meat which tasted«old» and dry. I felt this was in freezer for months instead of days. The chicken has lost the tenderness. I felt the same way with the beef in the Italian Beef sandwich and meat Ravioli. I’m sure they were OK to be eaten. They were just not as fresh as I’d like to taste. The services were fine. And the portion was decent. I might have to go back to Clara’s down the street.
