I skate at Seven Bridges and asked another girl there where I could go to get some blade covers. She suggested Triple Toe. She said she goes here all of the time, and that it was very close by. After skating one day, I found that in fact it was very close by. Just down the road like she said. I am only a recreational skater, so I don’t like to spend to much on skating supplies. I bought a pair of brand new skates from another big chain store for only $ 50(just a few months back). I have used them for a couple of months and was tired of the pain they were giving me. It was hard to even skate for the most part. I went to Triple Toe looking for a solution, maybe an arch support or something. I told them my problem and showed them my skates. They suggested getting fitted properly, since I had just picked my own. I told them I didn’t want to spend much on skates and that’s why I was looking for the arch support. They showed me super feet arch support, for $ 35, and they also showed me some of the lower end skate models that would be around $ 60 since they said that my problem lied in the boot of my skate. It was starting to break down. The lady then went to the back and came out saying, «I can’t believe it. These just might work and they are only $ 35.» She came out with used custom skates that the original owner paid $ 300 for. They actually fit my foot great and felt a lot better. They were way more comfortable then my other $ 50 skates, and they were still in great shape for being used. I couldn’t really tell it. So, I didn’t think that I would be walking out with new skates that day, but I did, and can’t wait to try them out. I was VERY happy with the price too! The lady and her son were very helpful and friendly. They made me feel like I was a regular customer, and that was nice a different. A lot of places(stores and restaurants) I have been to lately are to quick to ignore you.

Coming from Boston I’m psyched to find a skate shop that has adult apparel and reasonable prices for skate sharpening. Triple Toe is also right near Seven Bridges, so if you’re skating there it’s not out of the way at all. Service is great and the people working here were very friendly. Mostly I was very glad that the guy sharpening my skates picked up that the boots hadn’t been treated to be waterproof and that I had a few loose screws. Those are important things that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own.

Aw, I love triple toe. I know the woman who owns it, I used to skate competitively with her daughter. They sell a wide variety of skating apparel, used custom dresses, mondors, pins, soakers, and of course skates. They do skate sharpenings as well, I think they are $ 13 and you can bring them right in or call ahead to give her a notice. I think she also has no problem with ordering things in for you. I always have a good chat with Doris when I’m in there :) There aren’t many skate shops in the area and this place is walking distance to Seven Bridges Ice Arena. I know they have a huge sale once a year, sometime around November, I believe and she also does vending at the competition that is held at Seven Bridges which is in the springtime.
