Dale is an engineer of some type, has built multiple houses from the ground up, and has all the major certifications (CMI, IAC2 Radon and Mold, InterNACHI, Infrared) in a state that requires none to be a house inspector. All of this training shows in his knowledge and explanations. Granted – I have very little knowledge of these things. But my realtor has flipped houses for more than a decade (and I imagine knows a thing or two about houses) and acknowledged Dale’s expertise, specifically using the word «impressed.» He and his wife are a team – she checks the minor things (appliances, cabinets, doors, etc) while he inspects the major/​technical stuff. A report is emailed and a nicely organized physical copy is mailed with pictures of everything, descriptions of their findings, and detailed descriptions of how to fix or maintain the item. Also the report contains sections on how long each item should last and replacement costs.
