Cute little ice cream and snack shop in Woods Hole. We came here after riding the Shining Sea Bike path. They have a huge bike rack for parking and a long stone bench for people watching. A small cone or cup is about $ 5.

I love Woods Hole and one of my favorite place to frequent(whether I’m just about to get on the ferry or am in town for a number of weeks) is Candy Go Nuts. I was bit saddened to learn that they no longer take and hang Polaroid photos of people who come in to the store(that was a fun tradition but probably a bit of an expensive one too) but it doesn’t detract from their delicious ice cream and nice candy selection. There are a variety of wrapped candies, gummy candies and chocolates. We are big gummy candy eaters(sour patch kids, worms, lobster, peaches, octopus, etc… they’re all there) but I have to say, the chocolate non-pareils(aka snow caps or hundreds and thousands) are the best I’ve ever had… and I’ve tried heaps of different ones! The chocolate used in the non-pareils is fantastic. Again, the store has lost a little of it’s character(as compared to summers past) but the candy and ice cream is still as great as ever.
