Nanos Restaurant

Gross food. They literally pealed a banana and put two scoops of icecream like they didn’t care. The food tasted like soap. Save yourself money and don’t order from here. Horrible experience

Very disappointed. I ordered a pernil sandwich and 2 mango shakes. The pernil was very dry and tasteless and the mango shakes had a weird after taste. Will not be ordering again.

Awesome Equadorian food. Plates are huge. My wife and I have been here twice. The Bandeja is my favorite dish. I also had the Bandera which was good but they skimped on the goat. We had a party of 7 and every dish was incredible.
As for the restaurant itself It is not very organized. When we entered there was nobody around to seat us. We waited forever just to get our water. There is only one waitress who is also the hostess and I don’t think she speaks much English and she is the driest, drabbest person I have ever encountered. So dry it sometimes feels like your bothering her if you have to ask for something. Although she was never rude ever.
The clientele in the restaurant is not very diverse. And it is never packed.
None of this takes away from the incredible food though. This place is a hidden gem in Queens!
