Tuscan Cafe

This place is now closed. It changed to a Kennedy Fried Chicken over New Years Break. Their food was mediocre however I liked that they served a variety of food.

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but for this one I had to. I went to this spot to get a Cesar wrap first of they charged me $ 11.50 for this and a orange juice the wrap had like 1 piece of chicken and like the dressing was nasty I wouldn’t eat here again the lady serving my food had a attitude

My wife and I had breakfast here. Slightly pricey but, good food and quick service. All good things. I would say that the Spanish style home fries were something that I would make a trip back for.

Really disappointed in the lack of attentiveness. I ordered a vegetable omlette on toast and received a sandwich loaded with ham. Really upset I wasted $ 5 on something a sandwich that is sitting in my trash can right now.
Don’t waste your time or your money. Go to the bodega around the corner.

I don know whey people wright bad thing about the restaurant. I thing this a good restaurant for breakfast lances or denier.

I tried the pancake platter and thought it was a good deal, and the $ 1 coffee doesn’t taste cheap either. Place is new and quite comfy, and staff are nice too. Will definitely come back and pick randomly from the menu.

I dnt knw y everyone is writtin bad things about thisrestaurant… i always had very good experience… the staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh and yummy. not forgettin its affordable price with a wide range of options .and recently they opened for breakfast as well… especially for the people who wrks in early mrning like… it’s really helpful. I recommend this place to everyone.

I usually would never give a one star rating. But my experience this morning warrants it. Gentleman behind the counter didn’t get anything right which included a bacon egg and cheese on a roll (he informed me they were out of rolls after I ordered. Not a huge deal, I’ll get it on a croissant), an order of hash browns (which he forgot to charge me for and didn’t make until after my sandwich was done and still charged me for. With that being said, they forgot the bacon and he looked at me dumbfounded. And a simple ask for some ketchup on the sandwich got me some odd tasting bbq sauce on it. Be advised that most of the things on the menu they do not have as well.
Anyway, I ate it fast and left. Would not recommend.

Was just there a few minutes ago and ordered the bacon egg and cheese and a large hot chocolate. They used one packet of Swiss Miss hot chocolate for my large hot chocolate, and I said add another packet it will be too watery tasting and the guy assisting me said it would be an extra dollar, so I said give me a small instead then, so it’s not so watery. He ended up giving me a large with one packet of hot chocolate mix, I didn’t have time to argue with him, and it tasted terribly watery and was the worst hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Bacon egg and cheese was average and customer service was terrible.

Now goes under the name Tuscan Café. Overall bland food with slow service. Look up Tuscan Café for my full review.

Terrible service. It was my first time walking inn, and I was just so confused about how to order. The people there automatically assumed I’d how the ordering process goes, but I don’t ! I ordered a burrito bowl, and I found it sooo odd that they took it to the back, I was thinking they’re cooking it, so 4 – 5 mins later, I get it back… and it took them 4 – 5 mins to mix it? wth… This is not the place to go, I had other stuff that I wanted to add, but the service was terrible

Don’t expect any fancy place here. It’s clean, simple, easy. Convenient location. Hot buffet. I don’t live in that area of NY city, but I was going to take the LIRR, and I was hungry. Very affordable

This is a clean and well lit fast food restaurant in Woodside, right next to the 7 train. Service is quick and staff are polite. Food is yummy and fresh, especially the half chicken rotisserie. Also really inexpensive compared to its competitor Boston Market.

If I could write a –1 star I would! Not only was the food dry and disgusting, but the delivery guys wouldn’t ring the bell and made me come to him? Not to mention they didn’t have most of what I wanted and thought substituting my eggs in the salad for meatballs made sense? Sucked

I love this place. Custom salads and amazing chicken and sides. I live 2 blocks away and I go almost every day. Employees are overly friendly and helpful. I don’t know what the other reviewers were talking about!

Everytime you walk in every staff member seems to be confused and do not ask how can they help. Except you just automatically tell them what you want and they don’t seem to care and talk amongst themselves while preparing your order. The salad bar is great, wide range of selection as to the dressings, service however needs improvement and everyone needs to be well trained so they do not look as lost.

Slow service … waited 20+ mins for a simple order that should have taken no more 10mins… and they forgot my side … had to wait another 10 mins … safe to say i will not be returning.
