Canyons Burger Company

I have been all over the area and I think it’s the best burger. I also love their blue cheese. Great for the price. I also like their other restaurant GameDay on townlake. Great burger, great price. I like going here because my kids eat so well here. Usually when we go out to eat they just pick at their food, but not here. We are regular customers every Sunday after Mass at St. Michaels. I always get the black Diamond burger with fries (sometimes tots) and I add lettuce, tomatoe, onion, and hot sauce.

My homie took me to this joint for lunch. Got the double. It was a pretty darn good burger. Better than most I have had lately. I tried a couple of the fries and they were cool also but didn’t order any. I figured the burger would hold me over. IT DID… When I come back to Atlanta and the NW side I’mma hit it up again. Out here.

Being a cheeseburger aficionado I was super disappointed with the burger here. It serves you like fast food and the tables are not really clean — like in most fast food joints, the staff was really young kids and i never saw any supervision to make it run smoother. The bun wasn’t even grilled — a first indicator for me that they don’t really know how to make a good one. I’ll pass right on by next time I’m in Woodstock.

Do awesome they use fresh ingredients and excellent meat. The milkshakes (especially the strawberry one) is amazing. Customer service is great so I tipped them extra.

The burgers here are the same typical burgers around the area. I wasn’t impressed at all, the burger lacked seasoning, and flavor. The regular fries were OK, nothing too special. The one main reason I did not give this place a lower rating is the sauce, their Canyon sauce is great, and I think that’s the restaurants way for making up for the lack of flavor in the burger itself. I would probably visit again, but it definitely would not be my first choice for a burger.
Service is quick, and the staff is pleasant, no issues at all with service.

Nice atmosphere for a burger joint. Good hamburgers-​nice size… not too big… not too small. Fresh vegetables for the toppings. Like the crinkle-​cut fries. They also have beer!

Great food for a quick easy, kid friendly meal. Everything is good here. The burgers are great, the chicken tenders are great (for the kids or the adults), and the sandwiches are good as well. We have even gotten a salad before and it was good also, with homemade dressings and everything is good as ordered! One of our favorites and the kids too!!!

Fairly new to the area and love eating at mom-​pop places so I thought I’d treat my mom to a burger joint. Happen to be in Woodstock and saw this nice place. We stopped in around 5:45pm and mom order a burger. She said it was very good. I don’t like to eat red meat so I order a grilled chicken sandwich. (Probably not the best thing to order from a burger joint but I gave it a try.) honestly the grilled chicken sandwich was terrible. You can tell they cook the grilled chicken on the same grill as the burgers. If I wanted to taste a burger I would have order one. Also, all you can taste is burger grease. May order a burger next time to see what it’s like.

From the outside, you wouldn’t think this is an fast food place. It reminds me of a time when I only had money to bring my girlfriend to McDonalds lol. Where was Canyons Burger when I was in high school?
The restaurant is clean, nice staff, super helpful and awesome customer service. The food? Yum! The burger was pretty juicy lol a little bit unexpected. With my picky stomach I was really afraid that the grease from the burger would send me to hell and back. But, it didn’t happen. The burgers here aren’t loaded with grease. Good job Canyons, my stomach thanks you.
There’s this…“Canyon sauce,” one of the employees literally said it’s pretty much the same as Zaxby sauce lol.
Try the milkshakes! It’s creamy and not overly sweet, and… it doesn’t upset picky stomachs.

This place is quick and has good burgers. I love the canyon sauce to dip my fries in. The burgers are a decent size and aren’t frozen coming out of the back. The onion rings are great! Even the salads are great here. They are large and have ample toppings. This is close to my house and I would choose their burger over five guys to be honest.

This is an awesome place in downtown Woodstock that stays pretty busy. They have burgers, chicken, and salad. I usually get a burger with the toppings on top that I choose which is great and they also have a wheat bun option I believe. I love that they use fresh jalapeños on their burgers so I can add that extra kick. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sweet potato fries are delicious and come in a pretty large sized bag. Great local place to come in for lunch or dinner and for the whole family.

If you haven’t tried Canyons in a while give them another try. They seem to have improved many taste and the setting remains nice

Good food with quick service. The staff is always friendly. The burgers are hot and juicy and made to order. Choose from tater tots, fries, onion rings or sweet potato fries.
They have a decent selection of beers. Seating can be sparse during crowded times. The patio area is great. Sit there and enjoy the music from Pure.

My Black and Bleu Burger was so, so good. Casual, friendly atmosphere. Fun staff. Definitely going back.

Had a buffalo chicken salad there today which was very good

Two visits, so you can’t say I didn’t give them a second chance to impress. Unfortunately, they didn’t.
Ordered just a cheeseburger the first time for take out. So, maybe that one shouldn’t count?
On my 2^nd visit, a dine-​in, I had the Canyons Burger *and* Chicken Tenders and fries. (I was hungry. Don’t judge.)
What I liked: the employees were friendly, efficient, and hovered around the dining area keeping things tidy. They had ample seating options inside for groups small and large as well as some terrific outdoor seating. Large, airy space, wall-​to-​wall windows make this a bright spot with good energy.
What could be better: the burger’s flavor just fell flat. No seasoning to speak of. No «love» in the preparation. Unremarkable. The chicken tenders could go missing from the menu and I don’t think anyone would notice. And the fries were standard — maybe a bit boring, dry.
I guess what is missing is the savory, salty, mouth-​watering satisfaction I look for in a burger joint. There isn’t anything about these two meals that is calling me back.
And one more tiny complaint: they were out of paper towels in the men’s room and they don’t have one of those fancy wall-​mounted air hand dryers, so, that left me all wet.

Pretty good food love the area not as crowed as I though not to expensive either good place to go with a baseball team or with some friends. Good burgers and fries nothing to special but better than average

It was pretty good but my burger was a bit over cooked for my liking. I like mine medium rare. They actually didn’t ask me joe I wanted my burger cooked.
I wish I would have noticed they had sweet potato fries. There are a few other things I want to try on the menu. I’ll for sure go again.
The people who worked there were very nice. I don’t know what reviewer Virginia had a problem with — – sounds like she’s a «wee bit» crazy and jealous! The post sounded like a 16 year old wrote it, but her photo is 2 middle aged women so who knows. Regardless that B is crazy! Lol

Wanted to add my 3 cents, since it’s now September and the bad event occurred in April at Canyons, so obviously I have not been back! Listen, I don’t give a hoot how good the food is, if there is a woman there who waits tables for a living and she has that much disrespect for myself, as a woman… the I say «screw» canyons.
Besides…you can get a good burger at Fudruckers or 5 Guys. Lots of choices. I don’t need a burger that bad!
