I live very close by and I never go. I went twice and both times my corn muffin crumbled to bits and the coffee was weak. it’s true they do cater to the regulars who sit in and out in front of the building. One of the times I went I did sit in the shop and felt very uncomfortable. Out of place shall we say. This is my opinion, you’ll have to format your own.

Real great, delicious, moist donuts here. Prolly one of my absolute favorite donut shops in RI not named Allie’s…but they hardly ever have any available. It’s a 50 – 50 risk when visiting this establishment. I’m typing this at 11:26a on a Monday btw

I agree with a few of the reviews here, the place is sorta gross but the coffee is really good and the ice coffee is a pretty big cup and really decent coffee for the price. The regulars do get catered to more but that’s how it is at every place. it use to be different when the original owner was there when I was younger, but its still a decent place for a quick cup of coffee on the go(not a place to sit around and drink a cup, just grab a cup and go lol) no offence to the place but its not in the best neighborhood and the people outside are a bit sketchy.

They like their regulars. Ask for an egg sandwich that they have to actually cook on the grill not the microwave they make you feel like an inconvenience

To be honest this place is gross! Owner literally sits around all day, and isn’t very friendly(doesn’t greet new customers), seems to be content with the regulars that he gets… and he’s just creepy to be honest. Only one person working each time so when it gets busy she has to literally rush to get your order done. Donuts aren’t fresh and are rock hard at 7am, so who knows how long they’ve been there. Only plus of this place is the cheap prices, but if the product isn’t fresh, then what’s the point? I rather go to another coffee shop than to come here again.

An awesome coffee shop with excellent coffee making abilities, as well as delicious bakery items. This is definitely a hidden treasure and it’s open late, if not 24 hours. They perfect coffee and it’s much more affordable than the chain coffee shops, who mess up simple coffee orders constantly. Trust a local business!

A-friggin-mazing. After closing for nearly a year after an unfortunate fire, Donut X-Press recently re-opened. While their baked goods look entirely incredible, since sugar and dairy are generally off limits, I have yet to partake. Their iced coffee though? …I have quite literally been drinking 2 – 3 of those bad boys a day. Not only are the sizes more than gracious, but a large clocks in at roughly $ 2.76, about as much as a medium at Dunkin Donuts. Hot cups a must for your daily run? No need here: the cold cups are automatically thick styrofoam, the –best– when it come to keeping beverages icy in the summer. I haven’t even begun to mention the flavours. oh, the flavours. Sans sugary flavour shots, all their coffee comes naturally flavoured. …They have just about every kind you could humanly conceive. Thus far I have been thoroughly hooked on their pistachio and cinnamon french toast flavs. One point worth mentioning, they only accept cash, no debit. But on the upside they’re open 24/hrs and the service is always with a smile. As much as I love Honeydew, they’ve kinda sorta been replaced.

The customer service is great and personal. It looks like it’s run out of an old Dunkin Donuts. They have Boston cream donut holes — sweet! They also have a good variety of donuts including lots of Jimmy sprinkled ones. The problem is that at only 11am, the donuts were already stale. On top of that, they really just taste a whole lot like Dunkin Donuts. Ew. A chocolate frosted donut can make or break you, and this frosting just tastes like Hershey syrup and some flour.
