Lyrics In Motion

Nestled within the Rhode Island Athletic Club, is Lyrics in Motion. A small, cute and non-​pretentious dance studio. A friend had recommended this place for my daughter and I’m so glad we signed up.
What I love about this place is the 110% investment that the owner (Hilarie) puts into this place and her students. You can tell that she is so utterly committed and it shows in everything that she does. Her passion for dance and teaching and inspiring these students is fantastic! There are fun activities always going on, great monthly themes and solid communication with parents via Facebook, email or whichever mode of communication that you prefer.
Recently, two girls who dance at Lyrics in Motion had lost their homes due to a fire. Hilarie took the initiative to not only raise money for these families, but gather clothes and tons of donations to help rebuild these girls’ lives and put them back on their feet. It was unbelievable.
Another thing that they do is a monthly Parents Night Out. For $ 10, Hilarie provides a night for all of the girls that involves crafts, games, pizza, snacks, beverages and FUN! I also love being able to get a night to go out to dinner with my fiancé. All around, I love this studio and am happy to be a part of the Lyrics in Motion family. I highly recommend it!
