HOLY Cupcakeamoly! I came here looking for cupcake decorations and holders. I was amazed at the stock they had of different things related to cake making and decorating. They have an awesome supply of cupcake holders ranging from mini size to large to fancy over sized. They have tons and tons of different types of decorations ranging from hard candy flowers to shaker candies to spray paint frosting. My favorite thing they had was edible sugar sheets. I was able to get zebra and pink ones to decorate cupcakes for my niece’s 11th bday:) I was not in here looking for arts or crafts — I know I know that is what the store is for but they did seem to have a really good selection of crafts for kids and adults. They also had a good selection of building toys for kids(K’nex, puzzles, model cars, etc). The prices seem about average to other stores that sell cupcake decorations. I was able to get a coupon off of coupon cabin that gave me $ 5 off $ 15!

A C Moore Arts and Crafts. In the event you were wondering, yes, they have do indeed have both arts and crafts, as the name would suggest. Be that as it may, A C Moore is definitely more of a craft than an art store. While they feature a framing department(that they offer frequent coupons to), canvases, paints, and so forth, they lack a lot of the nicer or higher end items you’d expect from a more traditional art store. They have a great selection of items for kids or general craft projects, such as stickers, foam products, child safe paints and markers, figurines(painted and unpainted), knitting, etc. Once in a while you’ll find a nice set of Prismacolor pens or something to really get you excited, but while the placeholder is usually there, the product isn’t. The store staff is few and far between, and while they try their best to be knowledgable about the products, there is simply too much to be familiar with it all. Prices can, and usually are, quite high, but if you do a quick search online, you should be able to find a coupon for that week(I’ve gotten 40% off single items before). Worst part of the shopping experience is definitely the checkout process. Long lines, slow(and usually absent) cashiers, and the certainty of some kind of pricing issue make it a hassle. Parking is ample and easy enough and store is laid out in a somewhat logical manor. Everything is clean, modern, and generally well kept. If you just need to pick up a few small things for a craft project, stop in here, but if you need some kind of weird French paint, you may have to make the trip elsewhere(Pearl or Blick in Boston).
