I am so in love with the food from the café at Bahnans! The portions are so generous and the food never disappoints. I especially love their chicken shawarma plates, I usually get them with hummus, rice and these delicious potatoes they have! Yum!

Bahnans has, in my opinion, the best falafel in the city. The falafel wrap is my go-to. The sandwich combo comes with fries or a salad and a canned beverage and the prices are so reasonable. The vegetarian grape leaves are always fresh. The leaves themselves are never tough and the filling is always cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chicken shwarma sandwich is also top notch, as is the fattoush salad. Bahnans can be easily passed by due to it’s location, and parking can be tight, but it’s worth any hardship you might endure to get there.

Fresh delicious chicken or beef shawarma, with an excellent assortment of salads, highly recommended.

Not an ideal place to go sit and enjoy your food… BUT it’s definitely one of my to-go places when I want delicious, affordable and fresh Mediterranean delicacies! Their chicken shawarma and their fatush salads are always on point, and let me tell I go there often. I would sing them a whole Italian opera to pay for my lunch but since they declined my offer I did pay with cash. I must say it didn’t make such a dent on my wallet so you can also afford it too! Even their bakery selection is great! You wouldn’t think much of this place if you judge from the outside(placed on a bad part of the city and doesn’t look like much) but I encourage you to go inside and eat their food! You will not regret it!

I find the prepared food hit or miss. The lamajuens I just bought are soggy. The babaganoush is too smoky ang I got sick on thie tabouli. Also, kibee did not taste like kibee at all.

One of the very best places I’ve ever eaten. Combination of pleasant staff, consistent food, and honest prices made this luncheon my favorite through college. Do yourself a favor and try it.

Incredible shawarma sandwiches and great lunch specials. Get a box of almond cookies from the bakery. They are the best. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s a great spot and one of my favorite places I’ve ever been.

The customer service is exemplary… an amuse bouche at a café! Incredible! Hummus topped with sumac, olive oil and an olive accompanied by some pita… send me to heaven! Chicken kabob made right before our eyes. Felafel, Greek salad… need I say more?! Make it over to this place. You will not be sorry.

This spot is definitely my favorite for falafel and middle eastern style salads. Let me have you thank me later and just go in and get the falafel and any of the salads. Seriously so good and the portions are crazy generous. There’s stuff here for vegetarians and meat lovers. Great market as well. Good comes out fast and everyone is super nice.

Met a fiend here for a late lunch and had an amazing meal and shopping experience. The employees are friendly, helpful and very understanding that not all of their customers know about the products they sell. I bought a pound of mixed cookies and a box of assorted baklava to go before heading to the café for a beef shawarma. The shawarma was delicious, tender and full of flavor; probably the best I have ever had. This place is a true find as most of the products they sell you won’t find on the shelves at my grocery stores and they are very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back again soon.

Just love the store and the atmosphere. The shawarmas were amazing, the hookah selection is great and staff is fabulous. I also tried there baklawa which was a little on the sweet side but other than that this place is solid 5 stars. Huge selection of olives and middle eastern groceries. I wish I knew about this place earlier. The parking lot is also nice and clean. You can buy Kinder products from these guys as well which I couldnt find elsewhere.

We went there to buy some middle eastern products found most of the things I was looking for but not kiri kiri cheese :(. The little restaurant attached to the store is pretty good we ordered shawarma, waraq inab(grape leave stuffed with rice) and msaqa(a mixed Egyptian veggies) the was tasty and good and the people are supper nice and friend.

First, the hospitality is excellent. You are treated like a friend immediately. Second, the café is amazing! I recommend the food here to anybody, as it is all fresh and made on the spot! My girlfriend decided to go to lunch here, with me, and I was thoroughly impressed. They have a full olive bar and a wide selection of imports. The baked goods here are fresh and tasty. This place is a must for anyone who enjoys international cuisine, or just wants to try something new!

The store gets 5 stars. Its unbelievable. Cheapest place to buy feta or tahini I’ve ever seen. So many relatively obscure Mediterranean ingredients that are hard to find at grocery stores. Loads of pita options from local bakeries. Cheap grains and spices. The cafeteria gets 3 stars at best. The food is cheap, but it’s also not great. I’d eat here if I was in the area and didn’t have time to go anywhere else, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. I would and have gone out of my way for the store though.

Got a shwarma sandwich and a falafel plate… sandwiches are supposed to come with fries. Come home, no fries. The falafel was dry but thankfully they give you plenty of hummus to dip it in. Definitely won’t be coming back for the lack of attention to detail. Speaking of which… the yogurt drinks by the café register were all expired on 2÷22÷2014 and today is 3÷19÷2014. I also bought things separately at the store front. I got spanikopita which was okay… I’ve had better in Worcester. Also, gave the cashier a 20, got change for a 10. What was weird is that she seemed really off what i mentioned it, as if i was accusing her of doing it on purpose. Which I really was’t, just wanted the correct change, mistakes happen. I would buy the delicious packaged pita again, very soft and seems fresh. My search for good Middle Eastern food continues…
