I always order the pernil sandwich plain with mayo and cheese and it’s so good. Best pernil sandwich even better than some places in Puerto Rico. The fries are ok but if you eat them with enough sauce they’ll taste good and if you don’t like them still, order your sandwich with tostones which are very good even though you have to pay a little extra. The pan sobao is the best too, I always buy some when I can to make sandwiches at home or eat it by itself

I am probably one of the few non Spanish speakers who keeps coming here to eat. But I do so because the Cubano sandwich here is just amazing. The bread is made in house and has a deliciously sweet flavor which compliments the spicy mustard and sour pickles. The pork is extremely tender with crispy and juicy skin. Each bite just melts in your mouth. They also serve a variety of fried, roasted or stewed meats served with rice or beans and also mofongos(mashed plantain dish with different kind of meat or seafood that is popular in Puerto Rico). Since it is also a bakery, they have bunch of pastries and desserts. The availability does vary day to day and what time you visit. Since it is family owned, service can be slow for larger groups and business hours in the evening are not always reliable. Nevertheless the owner/staff there are extremely friendly and eager to let you sample food or suggest recommendations. This is a must try for Unilocalers in the Worcester area.
