Center Point Cleaners

Been coming here for years — today went to pick up my items — Completely destroyed a lace shirt. Lost another item! And refused to take responsibility for any of it. Second incidents with them, first time gave them the benefit of the doubt. They had lost 14 men’s shirts! They did eventually find them — but there was no apology. Spoken to other people in the neighborhood who have had similar issues.

TOTALLY DISHONEST. STAY AWAY.
We had a set of high-​quality cushion and pillow covers to be PROFESSIONALLY dry-​cleaned and pressed. It cost us $ 230; a price we were happy to readily pay. My husband picked them up last night. This morning we opened the bags containing the «freshly cleaned» covers and pillows from their sealed bags.
THIS IS WHERE OUR EXPERIENCE BECOMES UNBELIEVABLE.
We quickly realized that NONE of the items had been professionally dry-​cleaned or pressed.
I returned to the store and was told that they only used a squirt bottle with a cleaning solution and a clean cloth on my items. Further they told me that it was too much work for them to press them.
CLEARLY IT WAS HIGHLY DOUBTFUL THAT THEY EVER ATTEMPTED TO CLEAN OUR ITEMS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Yes, they returned our money, but that is hardly the point. YOU DON’T TAKE MONEY FROM SOMEONE AND NOT PERFORM THE WORK THAT WAS CONTRACTED FOR; IT IS CALLED STEALING.
We were lucky. We actually have two different sets of covers and cushions for our couches.
What if we had hung the supposedly «CLEANED» set in the closet for six months before we installed them???

They are becoming my go to cleaner, for every day items and bigger stuff too. I had my wedding dress steamed last year and my bridesmaid’s dress for another wedding altered here. They were friendly and extremely quick with both specialty tasks. This was especially important I only had a week before the alterations were needed.
