I purchased 2 pairs of tickets on Groupon. The only restrictions are 1: they are only valid on fridays. 2: you must make reservations. The groupon expires on 6÷3÷15. When my friend called to make reservations, she was told that their was nothing available until 6/5,(after the groupon expires) but if we would like to pay full price we can come tomorrow. How can their be no seats available, if we can buy them full price? I called back and spoke with the owner. She told me the same thing. She refused to bend, even though she has seats available. I told her we are trying to go out for a friends birthday, and she did not seem to care. She through it in my face that i will not get a refund since she is offering a later date, that is after the agreed upon terms. Her customer service skills were awful. I have never walked through the door, but I can tell you that this is not a place i would ever spend my money. DONOTSPENDYOURMONEYHERE.

My friends and I had a much needed and long awaited girls night out here a couple weeks ago. We met up about an hour before the show so we could order dinner and have drinks. The menu upstairs in the comedy show is a limited version of the restaurant downstair which was disappointing but the staff was fantastic in accomodating a few people in my party with dietary restrictions by allowing them to order off the full menu. Our food came quickly and was prepared the way we had ordered it, They also have a decent selection of beers available but no draft upstairs. I think this venue is great both for a larger group of friends(mine was a party of 9) as well as couples or smaller groups. The audience the night I was there was a good mix of larger groups enjoying eachother’s company as well as couples out on dates.

Don’t do business with these people. Made a reservation using a Groupon and realized an hour later that we couldn’t go. Called to cancel and they said we couldn’t cause they couldn’t fill our 2 seats. Talked to the rude manager and she started yelling at me and telling me the guy on the phone asked me if I was sure if I wanted to use my groupon cause it was non-refundable. I told her he never said that and she said that were 2 witnesses that heard him. I could see if I called a week later but i called back an hour after making the reservation. I’ll never do business with them again!

Went to Biagio’s for dinner. Food was very good, service a little slow, but waitress was very friendly and even went upstairs(on our behalf) to reserve us a table before our meal had even come. We got upstairs, for the comedy show, and met Dick Doherty who was extremely polite and very funny! Got to our seats. First guy was«okay» funny. Al Park was VERY funny and Dick Doherty was absolutely hilarious! Our table of 6 all agreed… we will be back again!

I always have a good time here. The comics are good and are always very different and unique. The waitress is very nice too. I heard they are under new ownership and the food is even better than it used to be. Will be back.

I attended a show friday 11÷11÷11. They were out of baileys, kahlua, amaretto and many other after dinner goodies claiming their delivery hadn’t come. The first 2 comedians were just ok, second better than the first, but the headliner was pretty bad. There were only 14 customers and 4 of them walked out during the last performance. All he did was impersonate famous politicians. It was as if he was playing them in a movie, no humor to it, very dry. Although the impersonations were very good it wasn’t comedy. Its a smaller room above the restaurant that looks like its for private functions. Not a comedy atmosphere whatsoever! There were plastic red and white checkered table covers. The second comedian even commented that he needs to talk to his agents about being booked for sh1t like this, joking but not Really! You could constantly hear the people leaving the restaurant at the bottom of the stairs so it interrupted the show often. Don’t waste your money.

I never get out to Worcester. It’s like going to the Berkshires without the nature or anything good really… It’s like the sauce, add some steak and maybe it’ll be ok. I know Worcester and Worcestershire and two different things and totally two different sauces. OR are they? Maybe that’s just what they WANT you to think. But I digress. If you added something good like steak to Worcester it wouldn’t be half bad. Which is where Dick’s comes in. I like Dick’s! I never thought I would say that! But like all Dick Doherty’s places this one is a gem. He’s been around forever and knows comics. The night I was there I got to see Mark Riley and a few others. I laughed my ass off. Then I had to put it back on because like I said, I like Dick’s. So next time you’re off the beaten Boston path and in Worcester, Go Here! It’s fun! It’s Funny and it’s at a nice restaurant so you can eat a little too. It’s comedy. What’s NOT to like. Oh and they gots booze too. ya mon.

We went to DICK’S Beantown Comedy Escape in Worcester at Biagio’s Restaurant this weekend 3÷19÷11. OMG they were horrible! The so called headliner was terrible and very very tacky! We couldn’t wait to leave. I would STICK to the BIGGUNS in Boston. By the end of the night we wanted to escape

I went to Worcester to visit an old friend of mine in the area who I hadn’t seen in years. She figured rather than having an awkward dinner together she’d take me to see a comedy show in the area. Thank God she did! First off, the club is small and cozy and we sat really close to the stage. Drink prices are very reasonable, but there’s no drink minimum. So while my friend didn’t drink, I drank enough for the two of us without putting a huge dent in my wallet. As for the show itself, the comedians are hilarious. I saw Mitch Stinson perform and he had me holding onto my sides on more than one occasion. The openers were pretty damn funny too. I left there with a pain in my jaw from laughing so hard. All said, it’s a great time that beats the hell out of a boring ol’ dinner date.
