This is the place to go if you are looking for a fun environment, friendly, personable service, and fantastic food at good value. From the creative appetizer selection, to the any of the cooked entrees, the sushi, and especially the house fried rice, you cannot go wrong. YOU MUST TRY THE HOUSE SPECIAL RICE. It is literally the best rice I have ever had. Just about everyone I take to kenichi says the exact same thing. Great Mai tai also! Give Kenichi a shot and you’ll be surprised such good food comes out of a basically no frills eatery. Awesome!!!

Never going here again. Used to love the happy hour sushi special but last time I was there the waitress changed the amount I left for a tip. Service is always sub par and the sushi isn’t anything special.

Stopped in here last night for a quick dinner before seeing Dave Chappelle and let me tell you their crab Rangoons are in my top 3. I got tiger eye maki and Philadelphia maki. Freaking delicious. Great pricing too! I was surprise how cheap and DELICIOUS they were. The restaurant was quite busy (we had to sit at the sushi bar) but the food came very fast. Very cute place. I was impressed.

Small places have the best food! The apps were nice and hot– we had the Peking ravioli and egg roll. For sushi: the pink lady and spicy salmon. Pink lady is BOMB. Tastes fresh. The drinks were strong too! One less star because it was hot AF in there but the waitress did kick up the ac when we mentioned something. That aside the sushi was fresh and gone drinks fire. Can’t beat the location either.

My favourite sushi in Worcester. Their other offerings were all very good but their sushi is sublime. They came highly recommended and I have since recommended them to numerous people and so far everyone has taken me up on the recommendation has raved about it.

The pad thai was decent but nothing to write home about. Dining companions inhaled the sushi very quickly, and the price was right. Pluses: the order was ready WAY faster than I expected, even for a Monday evening. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The sign is orange and fairly visible.

By far my favorite restaurant in Worcester! As the Duke I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The Mai Tais are amazing (very strong) the spicy chicken wings are my favorite chicken wings of all time. They have amazing sushi, the fish is very fresh. Everything on the menu is great but the best part of Kenichi’s is the staff, they are the friendliest and hardest working people I have ever meet!

Used to love this spot but lately the service is AWFUL. Twice found flies in my food. Just went tonight and was told they wouldn’t serve us because we «probably drank somewhere else»… Even though we hasn’t had a drop of alcohol we were told to leave. Not how a regular should be treated.

Came in for dinner. Place is small with tight seating. I tried to order all salmon sashimi. Waitress looked puzzled and let me know she would have to check with the manager. The manager returned and let me know he wouldn’t be able to do it and if he would it would be to expensive for me. I reluctantly order a roll.
I was caught off guard that a sushi restaurant doesn’t serve salmon sashimi and then would insult a customer as if I couldn’t afford it. How much does your salmon really cost?
I defiantly won’t be back.

Because it burnt the hell out of my friends tongue and it is really disappointing to have microwave meal in a restaurant! I don’t think I am going back…

Very friendly cozy place! Nice full bar! My GF had some very good sushi; the service was lackluster; I had to ask for a refill on my water;
The miso soup was actually above par.
Here comes the worst part: the teriyaki steak dinner dish that I ordered was burned. Disappointing end to the evening.

I went here after reading all the review son Unilocal and seeing an average 4.5 star rating… I was VERY disappointed.
The quality of the fish was OK, but the presentation and portions were horrible.
One thing I always order when trying a new sushi place is the rainbow roll. It is my favorite and alows me to compare sushi places. The rainbow roll here was SAD. The California roll portion of it was more than half avocado on the inside. The fish on top was again mostly avocado, and the few fish pieces that were on top were thin.
I also had the angel eyes roll… Fish inside, cucumber outside, no rice. It was very small, and only five pieces, and did nothing for the taste buds.
My boyfriend ordered a Philadelphia roll. The portions of cream cheese were way too much. And the spicy salmon roll that he ordered… was not spicy salmon at all.
This place is a big waste of money.
