Great customer service, awesome deal on Kayak rentals. We got 2 kayaks for 2 days for $ 60! which came out to be $ 15/​day each kayak. That is the best deal around seeing as many other local places charge $ 30-​$ 45 for an hour or two only. NEB will also equip your vehicle with safe transportation of the kayaks & provide paddles and lifevests too. This allowed us to take them where we wanted to go vs other rental places that require you to stay on their body of water. NEB was even okay with us returning them a little late after being stuck in traffic on our way back. Great service & amazing deals!

With all this snow I just had to upgrade my Nordic equipment. I looked around on line and came to New England Backpacker because they had a selection of brands I value and; great reviews.
I was not disappointed! I was able to pick up a very nice Rossignol package: skis, boots, bindings and poles; mounted and ready to go, within the hour, for a very reasonable price. I was out skiing that afternoon and; was elated!
I’m very glad I checked this place out and definitely will go back again.
By looking at it from the outside you might not realize just how expansive this place can be on your future outlook on life! Give it a try; and maybe I’ll see you there and, with a little motivation: on the slopes too!

Love this place!!! Great products and personalized service. I bought a back country ski boot last year that was defective. They couldn’t get replacement at end of season. Told me to come back next fall. Just had the most pleasant, hassle free experience getting my new boots yesterday. Try doing that at one of the big chain stores!!!

Awesome place. Went there last weekend and Wayne was extremely helpful in finding a kayak rack that met my needs. No pressure like so many other places. He even installed it for me on a 95 degree day! Would definitely go back.

Nice, and truly knowledgeable help. These guys live and breathe the Great Outdoors. Good prices, too.
I got the chance to chat a bit with one of the owners. He’s a really great guy, and is really passionate about what they do. And, they do it well. I spent less on a Kayak paddle there, than most any other place I went to, as well. And, I didn’t get any ‘Tude.

Great place to get all the gear you’ll need for most outdoor activities. Great selection of Hiking, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, and Canoeing gear. They are competitive on pricing and have a knowledgeable staff who isn’t shy about spending time learning what you are looking for and guiding you to the best product not only for your needs but also your budget.
