Always a great meal at Peppercorns. Specials every night, plus the option of doing the chef’s choice on the weekends(I have yet to try). Sunday brunch is great — breakfast mac and cheese and stuffed waffles were delicious! Tons of beer on draft. Also have gotten a shower catered by them and it was reasonable and everyone loved the food.

I rarely give out 5 stars to restaurants but I am partly doing so to counteract the unfair ratings I’ve seen. The food at Peppercorn’s from the salads to the burgers to the hand of the chef is always delicious. It is hard to find a place that consistently surprises you with the quality and creativity of their dishes. If you’re looking for a great place for apps and an exceptional beer list, Peppercorn’s is it. If you’re looking for a great place for an anniversary dinner, Peppercorn’s is also a good spot. It is a versatile establishment with versatile dishes. Don’t let the unfair 1 – 2 star reviews of this place deter you. It is truly a great place to eat.

If you have a party of more than 8 people, do not bother with this establishment. Do not bother making reservations, they will be ignored. Long story short: had a birthday dinner with a large party of 30+ people. Made reservations 3 weeks in advance to give said establish ample time and notice to accommodate us. Specifically stated in said reservation that I didn’t care where we were sat, just as long as the party was sat TOGETHER. Sat 18 people in a small ass, shoebox sized private room. Sat 5 at one table, sat 5 at another table. A few more in our party who arrived late were forced to sit alone at the bar. So thanks, Peppercorns, for blantanly ignoring my requests and for splitting up a party here to celebrate a birthday. Thank you for not having the decency to be honest from start & for not having the courtesy to say you could not accommodate my requests and would not be able to sit a party of that size together. But most of all, thanks for ruining a birthday. So if you have a large party, don’t even bother with this dump unless you don’t mind sitting seperately. In which case, why bother celebrating together anyway?

I hadn’t been here since the summer, so we decided to go for brunch today. We always sit at the bar, where the bartenders and servers have always been super attentive. We got our brunch menu and ordered a couple beers. The craft beer selection is awesome. I also recommend their custom made bloody mary’s! Anyway, I had my heart set on their grilled cheese and tomato basil bisque. PLEASEBRINGITBACKTOYOURBRUNCHMENU! It’s ok. I got the Code Blue Burger, as a veggie burger. I was blown away by the spice and sweet caramelized onions on it. My boyfriend got the Golden Arches Veggie Burger and loved it, as well. Portions were huge, and the fries were perfect. If you don’t want fries, you can get eggplant fries, or sweet potato tots. I’ll try those next time. I’ll be backkkkk! Thanks for lunch.

Extremely disappointed! We went to celebrate a family birthday. Even though we had a reservation we still waited 20 minutes. Service was horrendously slow. They said it was due to a large party upstairs. I ordered the Hand of the Chef that was supposed to be a «suprise». The suprise was on me, $ 20 for 3 tacos, coleslaw and cinnamon chips. The other entrées were just so-so. We absolutely love their sister restaurant, Prezzo, in Milford. Prezzo has it hands down over this place. We will not return.

My family and I have been coming here for years after basketball games at Clark. We’ve never had anything but delicious food(and we’ve seen about five different menus) but tonight our experience was extra special. We had an extremely friendly and knowledgeable waitress named Sarah who, when our entrees came out, informed the chef that she did not feel comfortable serving the small portion that he had plated for the price we were paying for the dish. She then brought my mother an additional side order of the short ribs that she had ordered. Everything was spectacular per usual– especially the service! Thanks, Sarah!

Whenever I go here I get the same thing, the chef Marcos executive steak. It is very good and the risotto is delicious but what I really come here for is there chocolate decadence cake. ITISAMAZING. I can’t tell you all how much you need to try this cake. It’s a chocolate lava cake with an Oreo crust with the most fantastic chocolate ganache on top. It’s served hot with ice cream and cinnamon whipped cream. I can promise you all you won’t be disappointed. Amazing.

Good place to grab a drink or play trivia. They have worm town beer which is great. Good beer selection. I got a burger that came out 10 to 15 minutes after my friends order. There was some error in the kitchen. But they took it off the bill so that’s great. The burger was mediocre. My friend got the Vermont chicken and she really liked it. Nachos with pulled work are good!

The smell of awesomeness in the parking lot got my mouth watering! Bar is immediately to the left when you walk in, open seating through the entire room. Trivia on Wednesday nights — didn’t play but seemed fun. Felt like a lot of regulars. Bartenders were attentive. I strongly encourage you to get the ‘cut of the day’ from the menu — regardless of what it is — and TRUST the kitchen. My ribeye did not disappoint!

Being new to Worcester, when asking for suggestions for dinner, Peppercorns was a name I heard often. I finally tried it with my boyfriend and I was really happy we did. The prices are fair for what you get, but still a little more than I am used to paying. We passed on an app, but really enjoyed the fresh bread and oil you get. I ordered the seafood risotto and fell in love. It was delicious and the portions here are very large! My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese, and he couldn’t eat it fast enough. We even decided to try a dessert, which we never order. The peanut butter cheesecake was simply amazing. I would recommend Peppercorns to anyone and definitely plan on going back!

This is a favorite of my wife and mine! Everyone who comes to Worcester to visit us this is a must be eat at. I have tried many things on this menu and have yet to be disappointed. I have even tried the hand of the chef which came out delicious! If you are even thinking of trying Peppercorns stop thinking and just do it, you won’t regret it!!!

You try them, maybe it’s me… Peppercorns Bar & Grill — Worcester, MA — 9÷23÷2015 Convenient online booking… Ample parking… Friendly front staff… Décor…, Interesting… Off White stucco walls… Large oval lighting from a bygone era… Dark wooden tables and chairs with a few booths… Almost Diner like in the most respectful of ways… Some of the edges of the tables showing obvious wear… A nice small loaf of warm bread is served on a cutting board with seasoned Olive Oil… Very good! First up a Steal & Cheese Soup… Flavor-wise OK but not the primmest cuts of beef as I’d rather not bite down on grizzle… It was only a few pieces but I don’t want any… For the main… Pot Roast… Slow simmered braised beef, roasted root vegetables, mashed potatoes, natural gravy… Honestly I was expecting something more…, not for me… I didn’t finish it… They did offer to replace it with another menu offering but at that point I didn’t want to risk any further disappointment and just asked for the check. I was not charged for the Pot Roast… My server Danielle was amazing but maybe I’m used to a more upscale meal.. Because they are so friendly, you give them a try… Maybe it’s me… :-/

Stopped in for a small family gathering last night. Not super hungry but needed a meeting place, with decent food, to visit with my sister-in-law from out of town. We were able to enjoy a chat and nibble on a few tasty appetizers for a couple hours. We topped off the meal with a decadent dessert and called it an evening. It’s nice to know that this quiet little spot in Worcester, MA offers hearty and nutritious appetizers for those looking for something on the lighter side. We enjoyed pulled pork nachos, chicken lettuce wraps and a chocolate molten lava cake and vanilla ice cream with cinnamon infused whip cream.

Would have given this place 4 stars. Food was good comparing to other places in Worcester. Service was bad. Had to wait for 15 minutes for a table when the place was 2⁄3 empty on Father’s Day dinner time. After waiting for 15 minutes, we were seated at a small wobbly table at the back of the restaurant while they had an open booth. I had to ask to be moved to the booth. Almost fell over while walking to the booth with their slippery oily floor. Waitress saw and didn’t even acknowledge nor ask if I was ok. People from another table had to flag her over to tell her to have that spot cleaned up because they felt it was slippery as well. To top it off, the waitress brought my kid a half full kid size plastic cup of apple juice filled with ice and said that’s all she had because they’re out of apple juice. They had the nerve to still charge full price for it at the end. This place used to be so busy that they even had valet parking. Now it’s empty. They need to pay more attention to training their staff.

They have a great beer selection but the food is alright. Last visit here was for lunch so i just went with a pastrami sandwich and fries, the sandwich was soggy so I wouldn’t order again. I would stop in for the bar as the wait staff is always friendly and attentive but not a big fan of dinning in.

Menu selection is limited for vegetarians. Sometime we want food other than salads. Food is pricey and given the variety in Worcester I believe it is overpriced. We made reservations and still had to wait. The wait staff was friendly but not very timely on refills. Hubby loved the steak tip special. They were overlooked however. Again it was too pricey. The salads were plentiful and good.

We went here last night. Haven’t been in a while. We had reservations, we arrived 5 minutes early, and had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated, even though 2 clean & empty booths were in plain sight. The drink service was Excellent. The kitchen was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait. The service, overall, was average. Sometimes it was very slow, sometimes it was excellent. It was *very* loud, as it looked like there were a few large parties there. Suggestion: Don’t take large parties unless you are going to put them in a separate room, as they affect all the other diners.

Calamari was very good. Large beer selection because wormtown brewery used to be next door. The lobster mac’n’cheese is awesome. I don’t remember what the dessert is called but it was delicious! It was something fried with caramel on top and ice cream. So good. Big spacious restaurant with plenty of parking. It’s usually packed.

Their appetizers are great(especially during happy hour when they go down from $ 10 to $ 6). Try their calamari with hot peppers and tomatoes or the risotto balls. Every Monday they have customer appreciation night with $ 6 large(huge) cheese pizzas. Their super thin crust borders on a flatbread and they use a lot of Romano and Parm if that’s your thing. Just keep an eye on your toppings. When you add on a couple, it gets pricy. Also — go early/late because Mondays get super busy. The bar has lots of tvs with sports on but still a casually classy atmosphere. Lots of good beer options, but the cocktail quality is pretty lacking.

So… this was the worst experience yet and I am never coming back. The hostess and a waitress were talking to each other instead of awknowledging our existence. Then we were seated and asked to order drinks and our food. What’s the rush? The place wasn’t even full. They have $ 6 apps on Mondays so we got 2 orders of risotto balls, thai wraps, and a blue burger. Everything was delicious as always but the service was off putting and left a lot to be desired. I ordered a hard cider with my water, didn’t get the water until after the apps showed up. My sweetie thought the water was sitting out a bit and not freshly poured because his just tasted like lemon water, a problem since he hates lemon. Also, when his water was refilled, she was not careful with the bottle and while pouring, it splashed all over hand. Speaking of being careless and inattentive, a waiter for another table was serving drinks and Kerry K, our waitress, just walked into him! Spilled all of her tray and splashed me. She walked away to get her tray of drinks refilled and didn’t ask if I needed a napkin. It was HERFAULT that they spilled everything and she didn’t bother cleaning it up, or offering some napkins. Another waitress was great! She came up to me and offered me some napkins, and then started sweeping all the ice away. Another man came by to mop up the mess. ONLYTHEN, after all of this, did our waitress, Kerry K, come up to me and ask if I got wet. Seriously?! I am so livid! Make sure your waitress isn’t Kerry K and then eat here.
