3.5 stars. Outstanding place for lunch. Prices are mostly $ 2-$ 3 for most things. Atmosphere is ok. Exactly what I expected. Food was very good. Service was fast. I will be back again.

This place has amazing food. Their prices are great, the employees are very friendly and the establishment is very clean. It takes a bit to get your food, but only because they take their time making it. Always my go to place for Mexican food.

The food is great. If you’re high maintenence, I don’t think you should step foot inside this place. For me, I see hard working people trying to do their job. The burritos are only $ 5, the shrimp fajitas are good as hell. The lady is super sweet.

It’s a nice, quaint spot in town. I was craving authentic Mexican food and this place hit the spot. The entrees are large. I ordered the Enchiladas and they were delicious.

This is not the nicest place to sit and enjoy a meal, but you can feed two people for less than $ 14. There are quite a few menu options for such a small place. The sope was great as an appetizer, you’d want to get a couple as a meal. The burritos are fantastic and only $ 5. I was expecting them to be small for that price, but they aren’t. The chicken burrito is fine, but you should really get the barbacoa al pastor, which doesn’t even need the salsa they serve it with. I still added it though, who can pass up spicy salsa verde?

I know Mexican food(soy Mexicana) and this is absolutely delicious. I ordered tacos al pastor and torta de carne asada and holy cow there were amazing. Tasted like my abuelitas home cooking! Walked in and was a little confused as we were not greeted, but looks like you just go up to the counter and get a menu and sit down. If you like to be hand held, this is not the place. This is a place where they sell succulent authentic food and that’s about it. I certainly agree with other reviewers that the place needs a face lift but again, I won’t digress as I’m only reviewing MYEXPERIENCE about the food. I’ll dive into service, it was ok but as I began to ask the owner about herself, naturally, we established rapport and service improved. I know most people don’t care about getting to know the staff and blah blah blah but I figured I’d ask given that I was curious as to wether she herself was ‘authentic[ally]’ Mexican and she certainly was. I was just curious. Anyway, Esta muchacha regresara. This little lady WILLDEFINITELYRETURN

This place is fantastic. Local, authentic Mexican food at great prices. These are the best tacos I’ve had on the east coast. If you want a taco with lettuce and cheese(as one reviewer opined about a lack thereof) go to Taco Bell.

Rudest people ever … And greasiest most in edible plantains I have ever had. They barely spoke to us and made us feel extremely uncomfortable will never go back.

Getting down to the nitty gritty… this place is aithentico! Think back to your abuela’s cooking. Very friendly staff here and the place feels homely too. Tacos Parilla takes you right to Mexico!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is simple and delicious– the tacos are just like what you get in Mexico. They are reliable and tasty– all you need is a squeeze of lime and yum! We also like the pupusas. The woman who runs the restaurant is kind and efficient. The restaurant is very casual, but has a cozy family feel.(Plastic table cloths, telenovelas playing in the background, kids hanging out at the counter.) inexpensive but still a top notch reliable restaurant.

Quick n dirty review Cold place to sit down and eat. Was served by what I’m sure was a child no older than 11. Dirty, sticky tables, and silverware. Very small and cramped. Open to the kitchen –which was very disorganized an ps filthy with dirty pots and pans everywhere. Chicken tasted chewy and tortillas tasted like plastic and were freezing cold. Portions also very small. Price was right. Nice area too — complete with dirty condoms right outside the front door.

As someone who lived in San Diego I’m extremely picky about Mexican. This place is top notch. Phenomenal across the board can’t say enough good about it.

As out-of-towners who found this place via Unilocal,we three ate there for dinner. Unfortunately, one member of the group became very ill and another member had diarrhea. This is unfortunate because this location had very authentic menu selections common to southern Mexico(a rarity among mexican establishments). The seating area is well maintained and kept clean but the same cannot be said for the kitchen. Given our adverse reaction, I have to give it a single star as a fair warning that the food may be a bit too authentic. Your mileage may vary.

Great place! decent prices and portions, plus the family who owns it is so nice! The music was a little loud, but I’m sure if someone asked they would have turned it down. I got a guarache and a sope, both very delicious!

I wish I knew about this place sooner! Went with my fiancé a few days ago… the street is a little sketchy but the place is clean and bright inside. The people running the restaurant was friendly and helpful and seemed truly happy to have us there. We ordered nachos(delicious), steak, tongue and chorizo tacos and a pork tamale. The tacos were all fantastic — authentic street style and super fresh, and the tamale was moist and full of flavor with a big chunk of pork in the center. I plan to go back every chance I get and to bring anyone willing to join me!

I recently moved to Worcester from metro-Detroit and had been struggling to find any Mexican food let alone Authentic Mexican… I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Tacos Parilla on Millbury St. in fact I was so impressed that it was a factor on where I decided to get an apartment in Worcester… So if you want some authentic and tasty Mexican food I recommend this place! It’s a close call to the restaurants located in Mexican Town in Southwest Detroit… Might I suggest trying the chorizo tacos and maybe a pollo tamalle.

I own a business near by and Always looking for a close by place to eat. This place is a hidden jewel. Real Mexican. Menu kind of hard to understand, Lady at the counter speaks little English. Most of the time I circle the items on the menu to order. Real Tacos, This is a great low price place to eat Mexican street type food. I have eaten there more than 10 times, alway good.

So maybe im biased cause im visiting from socal and we have amazing mexican food but this place is blah. i mean it does the job and the menu is crazy cheap — but you get what you pay for and the actual food looks nothing like the pics in the menu — seriously though why the heck do they have pictures with food descriptions if your food looks nothing like the pic? on another note service was pretty lame. Our table ordered two burritos one carne asada the other chicken when they were given to us I asked which was which and the lady shrugged and laughed.

Authentic but basic Mexican food. I ordered a quesadilla tejana($ 6), which probably was a mistake. Wasn’t bad but couldn’t taste anything but cheese. Was on flour tortillas and only a few bits of chicken. Wouldn’t order it again. The pork tamale($ 1.50) I got was microwaved way too much. I’m okay with microwaving at a tacqueria like this but not when it comes out burnt, hard, and tasteless. I got a stomach ache and the runs right after eating here and I wasn’t about to use their toilet. So yes authentic Mexican it is.
