I started at Power Boot Camp with Erica in December 2009, when I was really getting overweight and hadn’t worked out in a long time. The workouts are great, intense but straightforward enough for my clumsy, uncoordinated self to do without tripping over my own feet(Zumba classes and me– mortal enemies!) It took two days for me to decide to sign up for the whole year, and it was totally worth it. I dropped 5 lbs my first full camp, followed by 10 in my second, and now, In 8 months of camp, I have dropped almost 25% of my total body weight, and went from not being able to run a mile without feeling like I was going to die, to running two half marathons. The variety of the workouts is great, Erica makes sure we get in our cardio and full body strength training, and provides a lot of support. It is also a great mix of people– everyone has their own goals, and works hard to do their personal best. And the early morning start time is perfect– the workout is done before my day really begins… I am one of those people that if I try to put off working out until the afternoon, I probably won’t go. Can’t recommend the camp enough… better than any other program/class I have ever done.
