All Smiles Worth

I am quite satisfied with the work of both of the dentists in this office that I’ve seen, and the dental assistant there is also very nice. I will not be going back because I felt very taken advantage of on my last appointment on the billing. It was not a good feeling, not just paintful to my bank account, but just knowing that I was being lied to and taken advantage of will make me choose to go elsewhere. I went to have a small filling replaced that had come out. I could feel the size of it with my tongue and knew it was not large, and it was very quick easy fix to replace it. When the receptionist quoted the total to me I asked why it was $ 100 more than the last visit, where I had something very very similar done. First she said, well this one was a large filling. I knew that was not true and stated that, so she then proceeded to tell me that they hadn’t charged me for the exam the last time, and they can’t waive that every time so they had to charge it this time. I pointed out that they had also charged $ 50 more for the filling itself this time, and she told me «well it was a different material» which also was not true. We give different discounts each time. I am not one to make a scene, but was boiling inside, by this time knowing that whatever she said was excuses and just not true. I am sorry to say I will have to find a different dentist to go to where I do not feel taken advantage of. If this had not happened I would have contined to go to these dentists. It is a lesson in trust — always ask the price before agreeing to procedures so there will be no nasty surprises at the end. I got too comfortable and trusting there and will not make this mistake elsewhere.

Worth Dental is also known as All Smiles and that is what the sign says outside. Dr. Barry Abel is a good dentist. He has many years of experience and is a good listener and does a great job! Dr Mueller is great too! He tells you everything that he is doing, and will make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Ronald Baran is excellent! I highly recommend him for root canals!!! He has a lot of experience, is sociable, humorous and will make you feel relaxed about the procedure before he starts. I’ve had three root canals, and am very glad he was the one who did them all! He has many years of experience and does an excellent job! They are very good at billing you and your insurance too. If they overcharge, they make sure to refund you promptly! Only bad thing is that they do not take HMOs, just PPOs.
