This place is now closed. Went there for dinner this weekend and there is a big for rent sign on the window.

Exceptional fries. Hand-cut. Perfectly salted. You don’t even need ketchup!(Not to disrespect ketchup) I haven’t tried much yet, but I can vouch for the hotdogs too. So tasty and very reasonably priced. Individuals are $ 1.75; a «2 hotdog special w/fries» will cost you around $ 4.49. The owner is extremely welcoming and the service is quick. Definitely returning to try some of the other things local customers are raving about.

The best garlic butter fries on the planet. The gyros were very good. The DIY family platter is enough for days of enjoyment. The Italian beef is so good wet with sweet peppers unless you prefer hot peppers which are just as good. Really delightful assortment of sodas too,

Friendly people, especially the owner, always greets you with a genuine smile. They have the best fresh cut fries I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating, Nice and hot and salted perfectly. My favorite is the BBQ beef, not on the menu, beef sandwich meat covered in their BBQ sauce, let the sauce saturate the bun, so good. They used to carry Filberts Soda and it is Awesome stuff, they need to bring it back.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, I really would. If I was awarding stars based on the guy who owns the place or on his(as well as the cook’s) friendliness or eagerness to please, the no doubt about it, Dabs would receive 5 stars. The food is ok. My bf and I have been ordering out from here nearly every Friday for close to 6 months now. He swears by the Italian Beef. He gets it «dipped» with hot Girdinaria and cheddar cheese. Ive had it quite a few times, and while it is good and the portion is huge, I don’t find the beef being seasoned enough. I get the Philly Steak sandwich which isn’t your regular Philly by any means, but is still quite good. The fries though… the fries are AWESOME. The fries receive 4 or 5 stars from me for sure. They are hand cut by the owner and fried up right there before your eyes. The large fry is just that LARGE, and seasoned perfectly with salt. I have a bad gallbladder in which grease can sometimes spur on an attack but I ALWAYS take the chance on his fries. Pizza puff’s and hot dogs are standard here, but good. The fresh pickles are another wonder to eat, if you like Deli Pickles you’ll enjoy these. The owner is the real jewel of this place. My bf and I have a love affair wit hthe guy. He’s a hard working Transylvanian guy in his 40’s who always greets us with a big smile and recites what he thinks we are going to order. When I go alone without my bf, he acts as my own personal Dr. Phil, asking when Jack(my bf) and I are going to get married, how I can get him to pop the question, and talks about how great he thinks we are etc If you like beef and hot dogs and the like from a tried and true place you already go to, I’m not going to tell you to stop going there… but become a regular here and it will be a nice experience every time you go. You ll never taste better fries!
