Food and service are great. This was our second time here, first time for breakfast. Again we were not disappointed. Food is fresh and well prepared. The portions are big and prices are fair.

I’m not huge on middle eastern food but decided to give this place a shot. Wasn’t the best I have ever had but it wasn’t dissapointing either. The food was ready on time for pickup and it was decent. They forgot the sauce for the fillafel side that I ordered and those were a little dry but the steak shwarma sandwich was great!

I’ve been here a few times and love the place. Parking can get tight, but inside the restaurant is spacious. The food is delicious, and a great value. They provided us with complimentary appetizers, so we had leftovers. Looking forward to trying some of their specialty drinks.

I’ve been here a couple of times and being a fan of Middle Eastern food, I like this place. The prices are affordable for the food you received and fresh food. I recommend the place! It is not sumptuous /luxury place, but the food is good and for me that it what matters.

I had my wedding catered from here. Chef Ibrahim and his crew truly went all out and out did themselves. The food was fantastic! They even added beautiful Decour and lighting to enhance the buffet table. People were raving and asking about the food and the catering all night long. I tried multiple middle eastern places in the area and Fatoush out beat them all! The food and prices are amazing! Highly highly recommended!!!

The best food in Chicago and the new management has done a great job of correcting the wrongs of the past owners. Food is fresh and presented to look like a piece of art. You have the best in meat and seafood. There’s a vegan section as well that is enjoyable even for meat eaters. The best in dessert and fresh juices. Great staff of people friendly and attentive and you are always treated as family. It’s a must try for everyone who loves middle eastern cooking. Don’t forget to stay after for a hookah made with a fresh fruit head!!! Excellent!!!

Sorry in advance! I’m going to be completely honest about this place. I was told to avoid it by a few of my friends, who said it did not live up to expectations. Guess what? They’re very right! I expected so much more from this place. I ordered for pickup and was told my food would take 15 minutes. I get there after 25 minutes and once I walk in to a dingy place with so much going on and people running around, I walk up to the person who is supposed to greet me. Not much of a greeting, just an arrogant who had her head so far, you know the rest. Point blank the food after the wait was terrible. The service was obnoxious! No greeting, no hello no anything. Just a bunch of the waiters and what seemed to be regulars hanging out in what looked like a scene from grease, only problem was these men were not as cool. S Once my food was ready and sitting on the counter. The waiters and old men too busy flirting with their coworker/sever just continued. Not for a split second did anyone notify my food was ready. After watching them for ten minutes I went to the counter and asked was this my food that I already paid for, and she said oh yeh, HERE! To add to this terrible place, there are kids running around the restaurant throwing things, and people yelling and screaming. At least I wished the food would’ve been halfway decent, but as expected because of my introduction it wasn’t. It suited this place though. Terrible employees corresponded to terrible food. If you’re looking for a place with good middle eastern food, all you have to do is drive down to 87th and Harlem, but then again I’m sure any other place would do better then this place has. What a shame and a waste of an investment.

I came here and I was not sure about the service under the new management. The service was excellent and the server was very attentive giving me water and my hot bread immediately. They gave me a few samples to help me decide on what to eat. I ordered the chicken salad it came in a pita shell with fresh vegetables that tasted like heaven. I also got to smoke a great hooka every 15 minutes the server came and changed my charcoal keeping it fresh. Everything was 5 stars I am so happy I found a place so great around my house in Oak Lawn

I was wary of Fattoush Mediterranean Grill based on the mixed reviews on Unilocal. But I gotta tell ya, I was very pleasantly surprised by this gem. The food was absolutely delicious, service was fantastic. Our server Aiman was very attentive and on point. As soon as we were seated, we were brought complimentary warm, soft pita bread with some accompaniments — a tomato based salsa, marinated green olives, and mini sliced pickles. We decided to order the mix platter for 4 — warning, it is A LOT of food! The mix platter includes lentil soup, 3 appetizers(amazing baba ghanouj, muthawama, hummus) and a tray of grilled meats(kefta kabob, shish kabob, chicken tawook, and shawerma) sitting on a bed of 2 types of rice. We added lamb chops to the combo. The platter also included fire roasted tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, bell peppers, and slices of a thin bread that was slathered with a delicious paste of some sort. Most lentil soups tend to be bland, but the lentil soup at Fattoush was delicious! Every single grilled meat was super juicy and bursting with flavor. And the lamb chops were some of the best I’ve ever had! MUSTTRY! We also ordered 3 drinks, the Fattoush Fresh(a smoothie of fresh mint and lemon), the Fattoush Cocktail, and Caramel Crunch. They were all yummy. We ended the meal with kanafa(which was scrumptious) and mint tea, a perfect ending to an amazing meal. Aiman explained that the restaurant was under new management. Whatever they are doing, they need to keep it up. Next time I’m in Chicago, I’ll be sure to return to Fattoush… for the food, and hopefully try the shisha.
