Albright and Schnulo Family Eye Care

This is an awesome optometrists office from the moment I booked my appointment to handling all vision insurance matters this place worked very well with me. My first interaction started when I asked if they had accepted my vision insurance plan and they did and really took the time to explain how their office works. I came here from a referral from a friend because I was looking to leave my previous optometrists due to the change at their office.
I ended up working out all the vision insurance matters with their wonderful receptionist, Christina who went above and beyond the call of duty to help me make sure my plan would cooperate and give me the coverage I deserved. It literally took us two weeks to make sure my vision insurance was doing their job right to get an appointment with an optometrist here.
Both Christina and I ended up working out all the kinks there and finally got everything pulled up to show all the coverage I was supposed to have. I booked my appointment straight away with Dr. Lytle and got seen right away.
What I liked about this office is they have machines takes images straight into the eye to make sure everything is okay. Rather than just dilating the eyes and you leave the office feeling itchy eyed, your eyes get put in a vision screen to view whats going on there, it’s pretty cool once you look it over with the doctor. I found out I have a very healthy eye, as well as health in general, because it goes past the outer part of the eye and you can see parts of the brain. (This was also another method of finding out if I would be a good candidate for lasik surgery, which proved I could receive it whenever I wish.) This cost of doing this is only $ 35 but it’s well worth it.
After doing that I got tested for my new contact lenses with Dr. Lytle and then got my new glasses. All the staff were super friendly and helpful from the eye tests to finding the right pair of glasses this office has it all. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great optometrist in town.

I live in Los Angeles, and was in town for a wedding. Called to see if they would help adjust glasses, that I didn’t even buy there, They were incredibly helpful, and it didn’t cost me a thing. Darrell, the Optician, was great and helped me figure out exactly why the glasses kept sliding around and were driving me crazy. He identified what the problem was, and knew more about my glasses than the dispensing Optometrist did back in CA. If you need glasses, this is the place to go! Professional, knowledgeable, with a great staff, amazing customer service, and a huge selection of eyeglass frames. I’m from Columbus originally, and was a patient of Dr. Albright’s father, Jack, when I was growing-​up. My mother has continued to see Dr. Jim Albright over the years, as he took over the optometry practice. This second-​generation business continues to be the best!
