I was looking for a nice salon that fit my budget for the types of services I wanted: cutting layers into my hair and a touch-​up on my balayage. I had a recent horrible coloring experience so I was skeptical. But when I was scheduled to have a consultation and I met my hair stylist: Chelsea, that erased all my fears!
I also have naturally curly hair so that is always a skill I look for in a hair stylist. I was VERY happy with Chelsea’s work! Not only was she fun to casually chat with, but she is seriously good at what she does. I felt like she listened to what I wanted and asked me questions before getting too far into my hair.
Everyone I interacted with, from the phone receptionists to my hair stylist were super courteous and helpful. When I was setting up an appointment over the phone, they were very patient with me asking questions about their services and prices.
Even though I was in the salon for awhile, I was very relaxed and enjoyed my time there. Being served coffee was definitely a nice perk. I will for sure be making this my regular salon!

I recently moved to the Columbus area and I was scared to go through the process of finding a new stylist but Sky at Lennon Heads was great! Their salon is so relaxing and everyone is friendly, especially the receptionist. I was able to book my haircut last minute and they squeezed me in. Best of all, they give you a scalp massage and a mini-​facial for free!

Exceeded my expectations! I have extremely thick, curly, long hair. I had the same stylist for 10 yrs until I moved here. Finding a new stylist for my hair is a horrible task. I’ve gone to one other salon in the area and paid $ 75 for a mediocre cut.
After reading such positive Unilocal reviews, and desperately needing to tame my mane, I made an appt on a whim. They got me in the same day, and I was assigned to Brooke. She knew exactly what I was asking for, and nailed it! She perfectly layered and thinned my hair. I’m so impressed! I loved the complimentary mini facial and scalp massage, too. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I also love the coupons and freebie bag they give you with your first visit. I have found my new hair place and stylist!

I loved my visit here! All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; the facial and massage was amazing and relaxing, and my stylist really took her time with me in styling my hair and teaching me how to do it for myself later. My hair looks great and I’m really happy that I decided to try a new salon.

I started going here because I love aveda salons and didn’t want to travel to my old salon anymore. I have been here 4 times over the last 18 months and have yet to walk away really satisfied. The two stylists I’ve seen (one newer and one very experienced) both gave me very blah haircuts. They were friendly though and the atmosphere is nice. I also love the little perks of the massage or mini facial (every aveda salon I’ve been to does these little extras). But when push comes to shove, I have never left here with a haircut I love (I’m really not that hard to please). I probably will be going back to my old salon

Gina, waxing specialist, is great! She is always friendly and listens to exactly what you want as well as calming any fears. She uses Nufree– a waxless hair remover and its amazing! I have had waxing done for over a decade and this stuff is great. So much easier on the skin.

The complimentary mini-​facial and mini-​massage were so relaxing. Scarlet did a wonderful job on my haircut. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I thought I would give L.H. a try after I met a server at The Whitney House w/​a GREAT cut. She told me Kristen cut her hair. What a talented, young woman. Kristen really listen’s and also provides a fresh perspective. I love that L.H. is in-​between work and home and it’s less expensive than Kenneth’s Hair Salon.

I went to a few different hair salons in Columbus before coming here and now I won’t go anywhere else. They are very professional, the interior is very nice, and I always leave with a great haircut. This place is different from other salons in that they give you a scalp massage and a mini facial included with your haircut. It’s amazing! I think their prices are very fair as well. Overall love this place and would highly recommend it!

For all your pedicure needs try Patti. She is wonderful, your feet and toes will thank you!

I am so happy to have found a hair salon that I’m truly satisfied with everytime I walk out of there. I use to have hair down to my boozum and decided I needed a change. I was a bit hesitant at first but Scarlet made me feel super comfortable with her confidence and she made my hair soo cute, shoulder length now, just like the picture I showed her. It’s just an overalll great and wonderful experience, ask for Scarlet and you won’t regret it :)

A great experience from start to finish! The person who set up my appointment was friendly and got me in the same day for a cut. Lauren is a great stylist and took the time to understand what I wanted. She also gives great styling advice.
The scalp massage and mini-​facial (complimentary) were great for recharging my batteries on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely be back!

Great salon. Love that they are an Aveda salon! I had my hair done for a wedding. Brooke did a great job at listening to what I wanted and creating my wavy style. She gave me instructions on how to refresh my hair throughout the day. I wish I lived in town because this is where I’d come to get my hair done! My sister-​in-​law has been coming here for years and has been really happy.

Super nice place with lots of appointments available. I called in the morning and got in that very afternoon. They welcome you with tea, water, coffee, etc and leave you with a cute gift after your first visit.
I was pleased with my $ 36 haircut. She took her time and I left feeling great about it. I hate to spend $$ on my hair as I am pretty low key, but I can’t bring myself to go to great clips. This is a perfect spot.

I’m very impressed with this spa! As a stylist that just moved to Ohio from another state, I was not able to simply get my hair done at my work place anymore. I am very particular about my hairstyle and get it cut every 3 weeks. I saw that this spa uses Aveda products– which I love. I booked with Kristen, and she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and did just that. From talking with her, I am totally confident in her abilities and knowledge.
They aren’t too expensive, and usually have cool drawings for holidays. I received quite a few coupons and samples at my first visit. I’d also like to say that the music is fantastic! I have yet to come to a spa that had something other than over played radio pop music. I feel right at home here. Kristen always asks me how I am, and actually remembers things about me. There is not the usual coldness, or the stylists yelling at each other across the salon. She has conversations with me literally the entire time. I have been coming here every 3 weeks since February and I will definitely remain a long time client.

I have been a Lennonheads’ customer or nearly 11 years, starting coming with a New Neighbor coupon and, luckily, was assigned to Melissa. No one could be better. She listens, provides honest feedback on what may or may not be a good fit for your hair, and works magic. There has only been one time when my color was slightly off and she corrected it the day I called. Every other time (likely 40+ visits), it’s been perfect and I’ve referred many friends to her. In addition, she’s crazy fun to chat with. The salon is also relaxing and everyone that works there is super friendly. Highly recommend!

I am the kinda gal who likes to be committed to her hair stylist. But let me tell you — just like my commitment to my significant other — its not gonna be easy to win my affections!
I moved to Columbus in August of 2013. I went to my hair stylist the week I left Louisiana because I honestly dreaded the process that was to come. I figured that I would go through a handful of stylists at a handful of salons to find the right person.
I lucked up — I was referred to a salon and a stylist by a friend in my new neighborhood. The salon: Lennon Heads, The stylist: Allison. Love at first hairdo.
The salon has a variety of spa services. They are a retailer for Aveda. They take your coat — serve you refreshments — first time visits get a handful of coupons. Every time they give you the option of a mini facial for FREE!
Allison is wonderful –when I say, «I dunno, what do you think?», she gives me great advice, she guides me like a good stylist should. I am so happy to be a part of the Lennon Heads family!

I have been to salons all over Columbus, Grandview, Powell, Worthington, New Albany, etc. I’ve been to multiple Kenneth’s, Charles Penzones, Beauty Addict, J. Bentleys, Akaido, etc. While the last 2 salons mentioned are good, Lennon Heads takes the cake overall.
I KNOW THIS IS LONG, BUT IT IS WORTH THE READ. I’M HAIR CRAZY AND I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT
I absolutely LOVE this place, and I will gladly tell you why:
1. FOR AMAZING CUT AND COLOR, BROOKE IS BRILLIANT. I’m anal retentive about my hair and will cry and lament over bad cuts and colors. It’s honestly ridiculous. My hair is fine and straight, I keep it longer, I have dyed it various shades of red, brown, blonde, and I have a love/​hate relationship with my bangs. I rarely find a place that does a good cut AND a good color and NO ONE CUTS MY BANGS CORRECTLY. I freak the hell out when my bangs aren’t cut well-​not really on the hair stylist, it usually happens after. I have even gone to different salons and split up my cut and color. There is a girl at Lennon Heads, her name is Brooke, she is a freakin’ genius. The type of color their salon uses seems to stay about 2 weeks longer without me treating it and I dye my hair RED which we all know fades 3x faster than other colors, she mixed the most BEAUTIFUL color that evenly distributed through my hair, and she has CONSISTENTLY — I can’t stress the word CONSISTENTLY enough– cut my hair and bangs perfectly each time. I even made the mistake of going to another, closer salon when my available time wasn’t working out with hers. My bangs were ruined and Brooke managed to fix them! She is always honest with me on what will work and what won’t — I occasionally get delusional and think I can get my fine, PIN STRAIGHT hair to look like Zooey Deschanel hair *sigh* and need talked back to reality — and it has looked amazing each time.
2. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I saw some angry woman on here posting about how the service sucked and the staff was snobby with her. I have NEVER had that problem in all the times I’ve been there. I can’t help but wonder if MAYBE angry post lady was being a royal B to the staff, first??? There is usually a male who answers the phone when I make appointments and he is the sweetest guy ever and tells me all of the options available to me and tries to make it work out with my crazy schedule, when I walk in I am ALWAYS happily greeted by the staff, ALWAYS offered something to drink, asked periodically if I need anything, the girls are very cordial, etc. I’ve also spoken with Jeanne Lennon on a few occasions and she has been nothing but nice. I was looking for a smaller, trial-​sized bottle of one of their products and with those trial sizes they basically get random stuff in at certain times, so when it’s gone it’s gone. She personally dug through their inventory to find me what I needed, and actually swapped that out for the sample product I was given after my first visit. On another occasion, I came back in with one of my coupons — they have some GREAT coupons — to get 20% off all products or something. I was 2 weeks past the expiration date and didn’t realize it. If these people were crappy, they would have told me tough shit and made me buy it at full price. They still let me use the coupon.
3. THE PRICE. I usually don’t put a price on amazing hair, but in this economy, I have to. At Lennon Heads, I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing quality. I save at least 20 dollars compared to what I used to pay, even more with coupons.
Love it.

Have only been here one time to get highlights; about two months before my wedding! The service went smoothly from beginning to end. I was a light brown and was moving back to my blonde high lights. The high lights were done perfectly and it was the best hair cut I have had in a long time!
They have affordable pricing and they even give you lots of coupons as a first time visitor!

Terrible manicure and pedicure. The girls were very nice, but just terrible at giving mani/​pedis. It’s been 5 hours since my appointment and the polish on my fingers AND toes is peeling off. I’m not exaggerating! I swear. I’m going to the CVS as soon as I finish this review to buy nail polish remover so I can remove the remainder of this polish. I’d go back tomorrow and demand they fix my nails, but I can’t. I’ve got a wedding to attend and i have no time. So, now I’m out $ 100 and I’ve got peeled off polish and jacked up cuticles. Lennon heads is a total failure.
