Although we have seen it many times, this was our first visit to this gem of a restaurant. Reasonably priced, I will give it the best compliment I can: GREATSERVICE, and GOODHONESTFOOD. Well prepared, friendly and courteous staff. We will definitely be back, and I recommend that anyone who reads this and is anywhere nearby NEEDS to stop here.

Every time I go through Wrens, Ga. I insist on stopping here and eating. They have great home cooked food and an attached bakery.

The Mennonite bakery and restaurant has the best bread, danish, and cookies you can imagine. If you are within 30 miles of Wrens, you should detour to try this place.

I can not believe someone has been to my small town of 2500 people and eaten at Lil’ Dutch House. But, anyway the food is great, if you like down home Southern cooking, and I can say that, because some of my kin folks are in the kitchen cooking. If you are ever in Augusta Georgia, Wrens is only a short 35 to 45 min drive for good eats, guaranteed.

The food is a bit pricey, but it is very good. I have never been disappointed with a meal there. I read someone else’s review about not getting much food, but I disagree. I am always very full when I leave. I don’t have leftovers, but with a meat, two vegetables, and a roll I don’t have room for anything else! There is also an AMAZING bakery that is so cheap! Huge pastries for a dollar and cookies for 60 cents. Everything is freshly prepared and wonderful! The staff isn’t rude at all. They are always very polite to us. Now, they aren’t skipping around the place, but remember, they ARE at work!

These local mennonites mean business. They have the best southern food period.
