DANIEL, who was working around 2:15 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, in the Wrentham, MA Eddie Bauer Outlet, is an ABSOLUTETREASURE to this company! His polite, attentive courtesy was delightful — hardly ever experienced anywhere these days, let alone in an outlet store. His accent was British, so I think he should be promoted to train everyone else to emulate his own UK gentility. If everyone was like Daniel, the world would be civilized, peaceful, and harmonious.

I’m completely torn with how I feel with this store. I love their clothes; they’re comfortable, durable and aren’t too trendy as to go out of fashion quickly. The store is large and neat and I generally am able to find things in my size. Now what do I hate about this store? The employees. They completely cross the line from being helpful to becoming harassing nuisances. At first I thought they were helpful but clearly they know no boundaries. There were 3 women there bothered me greatly. One woman must have approached me at least 7 times, another one 3 or 4 times and the third 2 times. All in a matter of 30 minutes! It was so bad that other shoppers were commenting on it with each other. Seriously, I couldn’t look at an item without someone trying to match it with someone I had already picked out or something else on the shelf. One even went as far as to try to persuade me to buy a pair of pants that didn’t come in my size and to have them hemmed at a store nearby. One of them tried forcing me to put my items in a bag and even started taking the shirts I had laid out in front of me to decide on which ones I want. It was completely out of line. I haven’t seen car salesman act this aggressively. I would have left but I needed shirts for a new job I’m starting next and I really like their clothes. It’s their product that saved them from a 1 star experience. In hindsight I should have just left and gone to Columbia only a few stores down on principle and will probably do so in the future.

Went to buy a down jacket after christmas. This EB is larger than the retail store near my house. I had to check it out. Picked out a down jacket for $ 59. What a deal for a EB down jacket! Also bought a pillow, and am using it now. The pillow is also decent. Got alot of friendly help while I was there and saved a bundle of money.
