They are sooooo nice and accommodating! I work nearby and get tofu and broccoli which is delicious! They always tell me I can ask for it to be prepared any way I’d like. I love coming there and talking to the owners!

Kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. It is definitely focused on take out orders — small and not a fancy plan — there are only 4 – 5 booths to eat in. The menu is also much simpler than a lot of restaurants but that is a good thing — my other favorite restaurant has 10+ spicy chicken dishes. They made up a custom combo for me of hot and spicy chicken, egg roll and fried rice. Chicken dish was great — just the right level of spiciness. Mrs Ming was very friendly — explained to me that they are trying to serve«healthier» versions of Chinese — sautéing many dishes vs deep frying. She explained that most Chinese restaurants deep fry their food — even the dishes that you wouldn’t think would be deep fried… lesson learned!

The food was average except for the teriyaki beef and boneless pork which were very good. Portions are very very small for the price which might be my only complaint. However the place stands out in being one of the few Chinese food places that has a Slushee machine. This isn’t a place I’d go on a regular basis but there are worse places.

Simply not good. I so wanted to like this place. The woman at the counter was so nice. I should have been warned by the Xerox machine, dirty freezer chest, lottery ticket sales, and slushy machine out by the counter. The whole restaurant is quite faded and dated: the counter, booths, art work, tables, it all looked neglected and sad. However you never know. Sometimes the best food comes from these kind of places. I was SO wrong. Ordered a quick lunch for me and the kids. Hot & sour soup, Peking Raviolis, chicken fingers, and one soda. The bill came to $ 18.75 which I am was surprised at. We got the food to go. Chicken fingers greasy and dry. Squeezed them in paper towels before giving to my son He’s 12 and he ate 2 before he said they were just too gross. Dumplings were thick and tough with minimal filling. Filling was the best part of meal. Hot and sour soup is my favorite. I rate Chinese restaurants by their hot and sour soup. I have never in my life has such disappointing hot and sour soup. Thin broth with a few lumps of tofu, a few pieces of mushroom and bamboo. Looked more like a bowl of Miso soup minus the sea weed. Also this hot and sour soup was missing key ingredients-No egg? No vinegar? No cornstarch? This soup is simply wrong and bad. All this soup had was the hot. Hot broth with tofu and a few pieces of veg. Simply the worst :(

Does not pretend to be fancy but quality is 100% excellent. Simple dishes are best anywhere; chow mein, fried rice, lobster sauce. The chop suey/chow mein is totally fresh, absolutely the best, plenty of bean sprouts. If you don’t make enough vegetables for yourself at home, choose this. The pork used in many dishes is lean, no gristle & connective tissue & tendons like at the Wah Sing in Franklin. Excellent wings, too, nice egg rolls. No one does the basics better.

Ming’s Deli is one of those hidden jewels that you would never expect to find in little olé’ Wrentham! If you are not lucky enough to have stumbled upon this place yet, I highly recommend you find your way there for some wonderful takeout. Yes, it is just your typical Chinese to-go food menu, but it is always fresh, affordable and absolutely delicious(the best I have ever tasted!) And the best part of going there is the delightful Mrs. Ming! She always has a smile on her face and is such an all-around pleasure from the moment you place your order until you leave with your food.
