This is a little hole in the wall place and I did not find anything I wanted but it seemed nice with a selection of fiction and non fiction books, prices seemed fair for what it was.

What a horrible experience I had visiting this bookstore today! As my family and I walked in we were greeted with a «Oh No»! by the old lady that works there. The owners were there and one of the owners turned around and said, «what were they here already?» And the old lady did not respond… she just had this look on her face! Why did she say that? Because of my kids? Because of my ethnic background? I’m Hispanic, by the way. I told my husband, «let’s go». I told him what she said, and he confronted one of the owners outside. His excuse, was probably because of the kids. What? My kids did not run inside, they walked to the kids area. If they have a problem with children inside their store, don’t have a kids area! Whatever her problem is, she needs to have more of a filter and not let customers hear whatever her«issue» is. TOTHEOWNERS: The last time I was there I overheard your same«employee» tell a customer about returning the books and getting a discount on your next purchase. When I purchased my books she did not mention that at all to me. I was a little surprised and unsure why not. A little discrimination going on? Yes, by the way, that customer was Caucasian. What a shame and disappointment! I support local small businesses. But definitely not this place! Your employees represent your business, and this person is definitely going to run your business to the ground. I was a potential customer with money to spend but will happily find other resources.

What a cool place! There’s a ridiculous amount of books to choose from and the prices are MORE than fair. I go there every time I’m in town and I’m never disappointed! The couple that owns the store are pretty much always there when I go and they’re always very friendly and know that store like the back of their hand. Beverly’s Books is one of the biggest stores in Wrightwood and it’s a good thing because their inventory just keeps expanding.

The bookstore has much to offer for all ages. Unfortunately, the owner is one of the most rude women I have had the displeasure of meeting.

Located in the little town of Wrightwood, Beverly’s Books is a nice addition to the cute stores on the town’s busiest street. Since my son loves his vintage books, we thought this used bookstore was a really great find! The moment we walked in the door, my son made a beeline for the vintage section. My son collects antique books, and the older, the better! He found a great section of really old, well-preserved books. The«Children’s Corner» is wonderful here, This area is full of big, beautifully illustrated books. Story Time sounds really fun here, and I’ve heard that the store sometimes has a therapy dog during these reading times. I really like the cozy spot toward the front of the store. The big, comfy sofa is situated right in front of beautiful fireplace. Since it gets pretty cold here during the winter months, it must be nice to sit by that fireplace. It provides a sweet, homey touch. The woman who works here seems really knowledgeable about their books. She told us about the store’s program that gives store credit for your gently used books. I have a feeling my son will be bringing some of newer books back here to get store credit for some older classics. I’m really glad I found them on Facebook. They advertise their great sales here, and I discovered they have a «Dollar Room» which I didn’t see when I was previously at the store. They also have book signings and other fun events here too! This is a really lovely used bookstore in the cute town of Wrightwood. With a clean, organized store, fun actives, a great selection of vintage books, and good customer service, we’ll definitely be back soon!
