Awful. We ordered minestrone soup, a couple garlic knots, eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana subs, and coffee. The owner said he broke the coffee pot so no coffee. We got hot tea. They were out of lemons. Ok, we could drink it with no lemon. That took 10 minutes for two mugs of hot water with teabags. We were the only two people in the place. The garlic knots were stale. No amount of butter would revive them. 15 minutes later he brought two small bowls of soup and said if we wanted more there was a little bit left from the can if we wanted it. The soup was from a can. 45 minutes later I watched the cook put the subs in the oven in front of us. I had the chicken and my husband had the eggplant. During our meal the cook/owner was standing in front of the restaurant window yelling at someone on his cell phone at the top of his lungs. This was our dinner music. 15 minutes later after eating about ¼ of his eggplant parm sub, my husband started getting queasy, his face drained of color and he ran for the bathroom. For the next ten minutes he was violently vomiting up what he had just eaten. He had not been sick before. He did not have a cold or stomach bug. He was perfectly healthy. The only difference in what we ate was the eggplant. While he was in the bathroom, I went to the counter to tell the server what had happened and to check on the eggplant because of what was happening with my husband. It was obvious that my husband was still losing his lunch in the bathroom of this very tiny place. I told him I wanted to pay the bill and get him home. He told me to wait a minute and he would get the owner. I told him if this was the same man screaming outside of the restaurant I did not want to talk to him if he was in that kind of mood and just let me pay the bill so we could leave. He told me no and went outside. Shortly after this raging lunatic begins screaming at me that I was lying and there was no way someone was getting sick from his food. He told me he just made the food YESTERDAY and there was nothing wrong with it. You could hear my husband vomiting in the bathroom. This lunatic began screaming at me that his was impossible and despite my trying to pay for the full bill, he said my money was no good there, threw his takeout menu at me and told me to call him with the outcome because he wanted proof that my husband had gotten sick from his food. I told him to go look in the bathroom for his proof. I went back to the bathroom to see if he was ok, and as we were leaving, the owner/screamer shot us dirty looks and began yelling about us as customers. Never, never, never will I go back there and if you do go, don’t eat the eggplant or complain about the food or you will get verbally assaulted. It’s been two hours now and my husband is still violently ill from the food.

We stopped here while visiting some family in Dushore. It’s a family run restaurant and you can tell the folks really take pride in their customer service. Everything was great. Large portions and very, very good. They make their own bread for the sandwiches on site to order so it’s still hot from the oven. There were five of us and we all ordered something different. They couldn’t have been any nicer, a real pleasant stop. Great folks.

My family and I went here while waiting for Fulmer’s to fix my truck. We had some cheese steaks and a chicken parm sandwich. Cheese steaks were pretty good! The rolls were not we us Philly people are used to but regardless it was good. The chicken parm was very good too. They use real chicken cutlets as apposed to chicken fingers. 2 thumbs up!

This was a nice little stop for lunch. They have a good menu filled with Italian dishes. I got a calzone and it was pretty good. If it hadn’t been overloaded with ricotta cheese, this would easily be a higher rating. I’ve only been here once, but next time I will be trying something different.
