Lovely little shop in downtown Wylie with delicious coffee drinks and fun things to look at while you wait. I had the iced chai tea, and the counter server asked me if I wanted it sweetened(yes) with sugar, equal, or sweet-n-low(pink stuff ALWAYS) and how many packets. The tea arrived sweetened just how I like it, and I didn’t have to open a single packet! I have a free token for a coffee drink to share, and while we were there many regulars redeemed their frequent-drinker cards for free drinks and picked up more points for future purchases. Unfortunately I am not in Wylie often enough to participate, but their program seemed to be very popular with their regulars.

Pros: Good selection of antiques and outdoor décor at a reasonable price, which is what I usually stop in for. Coffee is standard fare, but is definitely nice to have a local and non-corporate option around. Great customer service. Cons: The amount of taxidermy animals and exotic trophy heads on the wall is disturbing. Especially the smiling zebra going for a few grand. That being said, it definitely embodies«Wylie».

Love, love, love! Shoemaker and hardt! Such a cute little downtown, antique coffee shop! Always have great customer service when I visit and have to say their hot chocolate is the absolute best. Used to make it at home, but now I can’t even do that because it’s just not as good as theirs!

Can’t find better coffee! I get my espresso ground by the pound every two weeks. Always grab an English Toffee latte, cause… YUM! The cute fun little gift shop is a bonus because you can always find something you or somebody you know NEEDS and the cinnamon scones… DROOL! Staff is fun and seem to really love their job and the customers. It’s refreshing :)

What a neat little place and just love the retro feel. I drove by on the way to meet a client and decided I really wanted to come back for an espresso. What a cool little place. I ordered a cappuccino and looked around for a bit. What I think is so neat is the old school feel with high quality merchandise.

Wonderful establishment!!! A compendium of intricate and unique delights surrounding a cozily nestled coffee shop inside. Perfect for sipping and perusing the merchandise, they have a large selection of flavored teas\coffees to choose from. They have dairy free options which is essential for some of us:) I was so pleased to they cater to all kinds!

I am obsessed with their lattes. Everything on the menu tastes great and customization(and heck taste) is better than Starbucks! Get your coffee with a pastry and you will reach taste bud nirvana with their homemade delights such as their cookies and muffins. Overall, light on the wallet(but maaybe a lil heavy on the waistline but who’s checking). Lol

Love this store. You never know what you will find when browsing. Something for your flower garden, wind chimes, a new scarf and the Southern Pecan coffee is always a treat. It’s a tradition in my home to brew some up for our after dinner coffee at our Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts.

My husband and I went here with friends last night. Love, love, love every bit of this place. The décor is adorable, lots of stuff to look at. The drinks were awesome. I got the Snickers Latte on the recommendation of the super-friendly young man behind the counter. It is my new favorite coffee drink. Everyone had a great time! I bought the cutest hat for myself! Even the bathroom is cute, y’all. If I had a complaint, it would be that I wish there was more seating both inside and outside. But we live this place and will absolutely be back!!!

I finally stopped by Shoemaker & Hardt after breakfast across the street. It is a country store with a coffee shop inside. The young lady that waited on me was such a breath of fresh air. Usually, young people are rushed and lack good customer service skills… not this one fortunately. I ordered the drink she said was her favorite, paid and walked around the store as I waited. The wait was pretty long but I didn’t mind as I looked around the store. Shoemaker & Hardt carry everything from eclectic home décor to candles to greeting cards to marbles… a little bit of everything. Although limited, there are a couple of places to sit throughout the store to catchup with friends. I enjoyed my snicker latte and will definitely be back as I adored the atmosphere.

Great Coffee and a friendly staff. My favorite is the pumpkin pie latte. It usually comes around the winter time. This is a good all american downtown coffee store. Love it

It’s like a mini Cracker Barrel/Starbucks. Too cute. And friendly staff. Coffee is excellent. They also carry ginormous muffins, a candy store and antiques and wind chimes. They also make their own whip. Will be back soon.

Stopped in here to pick up some whole bean coffee at the behest of a Starbucks-hating friend(we all have a few of those don’t we?) and I wasn’t disappointed in the product. Service was a bit slow and hesitant(and accidentally ground my order on the first try), and it wasn’t helped that the area around the cash registers was so packed with racks of(not coffee) goods for sale that there was no perceptible place to form a line. Acquiring a pound of coffee shouldn’t take ten minutes when there are exactly three other people in the joint. That said, the coffee is very good, roasted perfectly and fresh as all hell. The place has a very country, homey vibe to it and there is a ton of floor space devoted to dishes, keepsakes, knick-knacks, cookies, sodas, other confections, and even a small seating area near the front where you can get on wifi and chill out. Not a bad place at all!
