I had a facial and massage done on 12÷31÷15. I usually go once a month. The service is excellent and the ladies are professional and knowledgable. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The changing room very clean. Their prices are reasonable.

The atmosphere is clean, peaceful and serene. My stylist Zoe is the absolute best! She not only styles my hair but she takes care to make sure it stays healthy. Do yourself a favor and go experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! April S.

Front desk help when calling and checking out leaves a lot to be desired with the woman Sierra but thankfully when I arrived another woman was at the desk to assist. The massage and facials were amazing… facial with maria and massage with Ellen. I will be back for sure!

I have been here to see Zoe for haircuts and blowouts for past year, often with my daughter. I must say I am never disappointed. From the kind greeting at the front desk, the young ladies who shampoo your hair and Zoey is truly amazing. She gives me edges I didn’t even knew existed ! She is precise, timely, professional and an artist. Also a delight to talk to. The whole salon experience is one I would truly recommend!

My girlfriend bought me a spa gift certificate for my birthday and I couldnt wait to use it… the staff were very helpful and professional. I got a massage… fascial and pedi and each person at each station were wonderful. Our conversaton just flowed like we knew each other for years.
The spa itself is beautiful and very clean. I liked it so much… I bought the same girlfriend who bought me a gift certificate… one for her birthday. :-)

Had extreme difficulty scheduling appointment. Once I finally was able to, I needed to cancel my appointment. Despite speaking to someone they charged me anyway and claimed that I didn’t actually speak to anyone!
Horrible customer service.

My experience at Pierre & Carlo’s salon was alright. Meridith did an excellent job with the facial and my body massage by Deb was fantastic! The manicure and pedicure was mediocre. The woman did a rush job on my nails. She was in a hurry and kept reminding me of how much time she had to spend on me. It showed therefore, in the sloppy nail polishing. I’ve had better experiences with mani-​pedis at other salons.

I loved this salon and spa. The moment I was taken back to the spa location, the atmosphere brought me to a relaxed state. The lights were dimmed and the music was calming. I was taken back for my massage on time and the whole experience was amazing. My only complaint is that it took me almost 2 months to get the appointment but I can understand why there was such a wait!

Just awful. The well-​meaning but incompetent colorist who did my lowlights didn’t leave the color in long enough the first time, so it ended up way too light, then did it again, which gave me a full head of two-​tone color. She also gave me a terrible haircut (didn’t listen to instructions), which ultimately didn’t matter because I had to go to another salon to get my long hair chopped off so I could start fresh.

This was my first time visiting this salon and I thought it was wonderful. I loved the massage & body scrub service I received. I was pretty disappointed in the changing room. It’s very small and uncomfortable. Not to mention when someone has to use the rest room, whether by a staff member or a customer, the door swings open and you could be in the middle of getting changed — meanwhile, there could be a few people in the waiting room.
The massage was wonderful, but every massage I’ve ever had, I had my scalp massage, but I did not here. I went with a friend, who had a different masseuse, and she said the same thing.

I came into today to get a facial. It was a very terrific and soothing facial. I was greeted by the staff who was very warm and professional. The person who completed my facial told me from start to finish what exactly she was applying to my face. What surprised me was that the facial wasn’t just a facial I had before. She massaged my hands and my feet. I was in heaven. Overall my experience was really excellent and can see myself going back again. I highly recommend this place for spa treatments. I will be going back for another facial and massage very soon. Thank you to all the staff

The best spa experience I’ve had in Philly – well worth the drive out of the city. A beautiful space, amazing robes, and an absolutely lovely experience with a Swedish massage by Lina (perfect in every way), a facial by Meredith (so attentive and gentle), and a pedi by Tina (beautiful). Highly recommend this experience.

I can definitely understand how the other people with negative experiences felt, but I do see how the spa has turned the corner in an effort to provide better service to clients.
While the check-​in process was not my favorite part, Meredith’s facial was fantastic. I also loved my mani and pedi courtesy of Tina. She painted a Frankenstein on my nail, which I wouldn’t think to ever get. Turns out, I loved it. I even posted it to show friends and they thought it was super cute and a fun/​playful design. The pedicure was pure heaven. She painted on some potion, wrapped my feet in cellophane and a warm towel, minutes later, all of the dead skin was off of my feet. It was AMAZING!

I visit the salon regularly to see my favorite stylist Zoe! She’s awesome and if anyone asks who does my hair I tell them Zoe! So far my sister and daughter are new clients!

I went back and got a pedicure. It was absolutely wonderful! Best pedicure I ever had!

I did not like this place that much at all.
The receptionist was not very accommodating on the phone or nice.
I showed up 10 min early for my HOUR long massage and facial. After filling out my forms, getting changed and going into the room, it was about 15 min into my massage time. I figured that time would be made up for because I showed up early. But no, my massage felt very rushed and wasn’t good at alllllll. I was with Lina. Instead of an hour. It was about 50 min.
Then I had to wait another 10 min for my facial and that went into the hour of the time I was supposed to be receiving the facial. It also finished early!!! Instead of an hour it was about 50 min too. I was with Meredith and compared to past facials I’ve gotten, I felt as if she barely put any treatments on my face. It was better than the massage but easily both the worst massage and facial I’ve ever gotten.
Won’t be going back

Awful. Awful. Awful.
The receptionist barely looks up when you enter.
The «massage therapist» (quotes because I doubt she even went to school) Lina had long nails and scratched my neck, both painful and still present the day after. She wasn’t fluid in her motions whatsoever. She barely listened to a word of request. I said «I don’t want to do anything else, I’d like to just work on my neck and my left shoulder.» Next thing I know she’s at my feet and I had to redirect her several times. Even then, her skill was completely lacking and I left feeling worse than I did going in. She said «okay you feel good» and walked out. No! I felt terrible and my scratches hurt. She’s abrupt, doesn’t listen, and actually causes injury.
Melissa the person who did the facial was WONDERFUL and I was really thinking that the place was looking up after seeing her. Excellent, excellent.
The woman who did my nails. I don’t remember her name, but she was also harsh and abrupt. She asked where my friend and I worked and when we told her she proceeded for the ENTIRE duration of our pedicures to tell us how much she despises our place of employment and the job that we do. Despite our frequent attempts to redirect the conversation and apologize and explain to her why her small cut on her finger was not seen in the Emergency Department before a major trauma, she continued to bash our work. It was miserable.
Miserable place, miserable people.
Don’t waste your time, there are so many better places with better people and better quality service for half the price!!!

I decided to pampered my mom and bf’s mom to a spa day. When I got closed to Pierre & Carlo European Salon & Spa, my navigation did a horrible job directing me to my exact location. I called Pierre & Carlo and the receptionist, Julie picked up. I told Julie I was a bit lost and needed her help getting there. She asked to place me on hold. Not knowing where I was going, I circled around the area a couple of times hoping to find it. Julie got back on the phone after putting me on hold for 2 minutes which did not help since I was running late. I ended up getting there 15 minutes late total. Be aware that the location is tuck inside a residential area and the business is on the bottom location of the residential building.
Walking in with my mom, we were greeted by Julie and she told us that we have to fill out a form. I asked if my bf’s mother is inside since she arrived separately and she told me with a little sassiness in her tone that, «Yes, she is inside, getting her facial done for 15 mins already», and that my mom’s and my hour will be cut down since we were late. I was a little upset because I looked around and they didn’t look busy but whatever.
When I got ready to get a massage, my masseuse, Savannah did (sorry to say) an lousy job. It felt as if I was getting a rubbed down with lotion then getting an actual massage. Every time I was getting into the massage, she stopped and started working on another area. I guess she was more concerned with getting the massage done with the amount of time she had, then focusing on doing it right. I was not pleased. My mom said her facial was okay too. Since I bought the package deal, we all got our mani and pedi done there as well. Diorina, who worked on me did an excellent job. Though I had gel on my nails and since it would cost more to fill them in, she just painted over them. But I was well satisfied with my nails.
As I sat around waiting for my nails to dried, Julie asked me, now do you want to wait for your nails to dry or pay now? I looked at her puzzlingly and thought, why would she asked me that? It’s obvious that I want my nails dried! Turns out she was in a hurry to go home.
Overall, I thought Pierre and Carlo look very clean with a nice spa ambiance but if Julie had done a better job directing us, our visit there would’ve been a lot more pleasant. It just sucks that the person who suppose to meet and greet you on the way in and out made you feels as if you’re not worth being there.
