I love the staff here. They are so knowledgeable and answer all my son’s questions. And they don’t roll their eyes at me when I ask probably the stupidest questions on earth.

They have questionable counterfeit detection skills. I bought a used copy of Pokemon SoulSilver here only to find out later that it was counterfeit. Unfortunately since it was after the month return period, I couldn’t get a refund.
I was mostly taken aback by how the store clerk said it looked so much like the legitimate copy, which isn’t true because once you know what to look for you can tell it’s a fake. I would expect major game store employees to know how to detect counterfeits of popular franchises; I expect counterfeit HeartGold/​SoulSilver from Ebay, not GameStop.
Counterfeiters –are– getting smarter and it’s not as easy to detect them as it was back when the bootlegs of Telefang were circulating under the names Pokemon Jade/​Diamond.

Good, but not great. I think the one in Havertown is better. The guy working in the Havertown store actually gave a damn about helping me find something. There is a nice selection of games here but the personnel needs to acknowledge their customers when they enter the store. Help a girl out!!!

This is a great little Gamestop with knowledgeable/​fun staff and good deals.
