I originally started coming to A.C. Moore because a lot of their items are cheaper than Michaels. However, whenever I go in there, I feel as though their selections are very limited. I went to get a special coating spray specifically designed for resin, they do not carry the product. I went to the bead section to get a specific color of perler beads, they also did not have the color I was looking for but they had a small selection of the basic colors. I found some perler bead colors, but not all. When I went to checkout, there were 3 lanes open, 1 of which was busy, so I went to one of the lanes with no customers. Apparently, this was a huge mistake as I approached the cashier & laid my items down for her to scan. She let out a long, drawn-ought sigh & a bit if a grunt as though I was a bother to her. I said hello to her(since she never did) & all she said to me was«Do you have a shoppers card with us?» I said«yes, sorry, let me get it real quick». So I got my card out, she scanned it, told me my total, & I paid for my order. She handed my items to me & didn’t even care to say«have a nice day» or «have a good one» or anything like that. She was simply the rudest person I encountered there & because of this & the poor selection, I will not be returning here. Instead I’d rather do my shopping online where I don’t have to worry about having a bad experience due to a cashier. I work in retail & one or the things we’re required to say to people are«hello» or «how may I help you?» Then when they leave we say«have a nice day/evening/night» or «have a good one» something along those lines. Maybe she was just having a bad day but that’s not an excuse to treat me like garbage in the process.
