Visited here after a comedy show and was hoping to catch a couple UFC fights and get a bite. Our host and waitress were super friendly and accommodating. We were given the late night menu which we expected at 11 pm. We ordered fried pickles, wings and an order of nachos with meat added on for $ 5. The fried pickles were good and plentiful. The wings were very good but very small. I would never order them again for the price. The nachos had basically a handful of meat(and I mean a small child’s handful). It’s hard to mess up nachos, but they managed to do it. At one point during the fights the directv feed had a little problem for maybe 10 seconds,(I have directv and this happens almost never) and the patrons grumbled. Then a muscle head bartender yelled«keep it down kids!» I was pleased to hear a few people yell profanities at him to which made my night. I have been to one other tilted kilt in Pittsburgh and it was fantastic. This one is one that I went to work the next day and told all my co-workers to avoid. I have it 2 stars only because of the host and our waitress. The rest of the visit was a complete let down as a cap to our date night.

This was by far the worst tilted kilt location that I’ve had the displeasure of eating at. From the moment I walked in I saw the miserable sods that they called waitresses standing at the desk. They looked so sad and depressed you’d think they were in some kind of human trafficking situation instead of a restaurant. The shepherd pie had so much gristle in the meat it was disgusting. The macaroni and cheese side had very few noodles and clumps of cheese. The only thing I’d call edible was the Irish nachos. Overall a horrible experience that I would never put myself through again.

Had drinks and apps there, nothing special really. Hooters gone Irish is the best way to describe it really. Service was attentive but not nearly as pretty as what is shown on the website! Food was served hot and pretty quick so that was good. Overall an ok experience but not worthy of putting in my top 5 list.

Attended a bit early for a Monday night food ball game and was happy with the service and atmosphere but disappointed with the temperature and quality of the dozen wings I ordered. Seemed under temp, as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for too long. But in the tilted kilts defense it was stating to get busy as it was a Philadelphia Eagles Monday night.

Scantily clad women and most are pretty. The food is frozen and fried to order. So not great. Did I mention scantily clad women? They have a pretty good bar– good size and about 50 beers on tap. They have plenty of t.v.‘s and decorations to look at. Did I mention the scantily clad women?

I would actually give a 2.75 due to the 48 taps some duplicate but still a descent of domestic and micro selection and the service we received at the bar, other than that this another chain blending a Ruby Tuesday/Hooters feel but with kilts. Large bar where we were 1 of 3 people@ bar. My partner had the fried chicken platter with veggies which for him didnt have enough gravy in which they charged. 50extra to give him more. BULLGRAVYDOESN’T COSTTHATMUCHLACKOFREPEATCUSTOMERSDO! I had the chicken with mushrooms and onions over mashed, no veggies came with it and my sauce quantity was the complete opposite, it was swimming in so much buttery cream sauce that it made my mashed potatoes non-existent. Both platters came with garlic bread.

Kitchen screwed up our order… Waitress did not fix it just kept saying sorry… Never going back there. I’m sticking with Trooper Thorns… Better food, better service, more Celtic authentic!

Went for lunch and ordered the Scottish Pie. A Scottish Pie is supposed to be meat, veggies and a gravy topped with mash potato. I want to stress TOPPED because this was not topped with mashed potato, it was all mash potato and very little of everything else. It should be called a potato pie because that is all it was.

Bad service. Ok food but at least the beer was cold. They should hire better servers or at least better training.

Hooter’s goes Irish. Standard(bland) corporate food. Frozen, then fried. If it takes girls in short skirts to bring in the customer, you’re food obviously isn’t any good. If you want to oggle young girls, there are plenty of places where you can get an order of wings and more than the peak you get here.

If you’re into the Hooters scene, you will most certainly enjoy Tilted Kilt. My boyfriend and I went here one night with no former knowledge of the restaurant. Needless to say, we were surprised by the uniforms, but not offended. The food is, as another reviewer said, what it is. It’s standard pub style food with an average cost of $ 5-$ 10 per appetizer, and an average of around $ 12-$ 14 per meal. Although optimistic about the quality of the food, I can’t say that the portions justified the amount we paid for them. It was tasty, but all in all, the food struck me as neither great nor terrible. With a few drinks, you can expect somewhat tasty beer-munchies food. If we come back here, it will be for the drinks. I had the Paddy Bomb and the Knockout Punch, which were both very good, but a little lacking in alcohol. What impressed me least was the service. Don’t get me wrong: our waitress was very friendly. But the restaurant had around 8 – 10 customers and we were barely checked on. After eating, we informed the waitress we were ready for our check, but she disappeared and we were stuck waiting for 15 minutes. When she came back, there was no check. Instead, she asked us twice if we wanted to order anything else. While I realize she was trying to increase sales, a request for the bill is a request for the bill. We let her know once again that we didn’t want anything else. Another ten minutes passed until we finally got our check. At that point I was frustrated at the hold up, since it was closing time and there were two or three waitresses and a bartender, with barely any people there. After a mediocre experience, I don’t think we’ll be back soon unless we run out of ideas. This is definitely a men’s hangout, so if you’re a guy who enjoys seeing a little skin(and what guy doesn’t), this may very well be your new favorite restaurant. It just didn’t suit us.

My wife and I wanted to try Tilted Kilt so we ate there for the first and last time today. The dress code… or lack of… on the waitresses has to go. I wanted to enjoy a nice sit down meal with my wife and was surrounded my young ladies dressed in very small outfits. As far as the food we got the nacho platter with ground beef. For the amount I paid for this I was very disappointed. Most of the nachos lacked cheese and there was next to no meat on the platter. I was asked by the waitress how the platter was and wanted to be honest and said I have had much better nachos. The manager did speak with us and after all was said and done he said they didn’t say they have the best nachos. The southwest chicken wrap I had was good but wished they offered a back potato instead of fries. When we was done eating someone came to clean off the plates and I waited about 5 minutes more and the waitress came over with an odd look and said if there is something else I needed. I said just the check because I really wanted to leave this place. As I expected no discount on the bill. I could have got a much better meal for less cost from several other locations in the area. Just not what we expected.

This place just opened in this location last week. We got the Dublin nachos, which by itself was pretty good. Standard pub fare pretty much. We got a side of their salsa and it tastes in no other words rancid. We told the server and she came back and said they had made fresh salsa today but that’s not what we got. Really? They brought out the fresh stuff and it was a little better, but not much. So, when you go here make sure to ask for fresh salsa.
