Cassano’s Pizza King

I’ve been eating at various area Cassanos for years. I usually call ahead and pick up my order.
This Xenia location is average for customer service– sometimes friendly, sometimes they act like you are interrupting the conversations in the back to pay for your order. This week the guy at the counter was friendly and my order only took a few minutes after I got there.
The pizza is good though sometimes greasy– this week the grease soaked through parts of our box. (See photo.)

got pizza two weeks ago for carry out. cassano’s is generally pretty salty, but this was REALLY SALTY. enough salt to gag a maggot. everyone one in our group thought the same. cassano’s, what are you doing with your employee training and how you prepare your food? sure looks like from this and your other reviews that things are slipping. WAKE UP, before you lose more customers. we’ve been customers of cassano’s for many years, but if the next pizza is this SALTY, we will sadly have to leave you for good.

I am from Moraine, I want to preface this review by saying the dine-​in service at most of these locals is average at best, though perfect for carryout. I will review the Xenia Allison Avenue location I stopped at the other day.
The pizza and the Calzone were very tasty «even though personal pizza was not warm», can’t remember every getting really bad food at one of these.
This Xenia local needs to teach their employees to not act like you’re inconveniencing them when you place an order. I was also struck how the woman who took my order seemed to be really lethargic, «falling asleep» almost. It was on a Sunday morning around opening time.
I asked simple questions about size price and per topping price and she had no clue at all, really irritated me her slacker attitude, «Reminded me of a classic Valley Girl». Said 15 minutes to get my food, Took 30 minutes. No one else in there, and no carryout orders picked up while I waited, I think my food sit for 10 minutes or so while the Valley Girl watched TV.
I was going to complain, but I figured why bother, I will make sure not to eat at this local again. Check out my Dollar General review which is located down the strip mall from this Pizza place. was definitely not my day!
