I had the jalapeño burger and fries, both of which were good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night.

The Oktoberfest Beer Cheese Pretzel appetizer left a lot to be desired. Seemed to just be a nuked super pretzel and a very small cup of cheese. But the Cheese burger I had and the Wife’s wings were great. Lots of TVs, craft beer on tap, large outdoor patio with live music, we’ll be back for sure.

Food is good if you have at least 2 hours to wait. The wait is absolutely the worst I’ve ever had.

A great find! Excellent fried green tomatoes, very good calamari with a tasty and unique sauce, good wings and burgers. Funny signs are posted everywhere and the staff was friendly and attentive making it an enjoyable experience. I would have given five stars, but our burgers were over cooked yet still good. We ordered medium and they came out medium well to well. I’ll definitely go back, but I’ll make sure to emphasize the correct temp if I order a burger again.

Food is great! My son had a cheese pizza he devoured it! I had the rib eye sandwich with mushrooms and onions a huge broasted taters they were yummy. So much food could only eat half my sandwich! Definitely would recommend this place

I love nicks. The only beef that I have with them, is that their kitchen closes a tad early. I wouldn’t mind getting a late night snack there if they offered food.

Nicks is a Xenia original. They truly have some of the best wings around and their«sexy club» is down right amazing. Great spot to grab some wings, drink a beer, and watch the game.

Nicks has done it again and again. Great place to go for wings. Fire in yo hole is my favorite but be-careful use caution. Although its never stopped me. Something that is still fiery but a little more bearable for the sissy’s is sweet hot damn. Great super light and crispy breading on the wings. 10 out of 10 for wings in the area.!! None compare I also want to mention the burgers and beer specials. I highly suggest for the adventurous one that likes something other than a chain restaurant or something way to overdone and ritzy. Keep it up nicks! You guys make my day,

First time here. Atmosphere very pleasant — great music and cutesy signs all over — clean and very relaxing. Hickory nick burger excellent. Wings are large. Very good service as well. We will be back!

I’m a Xenia local and Nick’s is precisely what you think it is — it’s a good quality diner with a full bar. My wife and I go down there pretty regularly. It doesn’t have the polish of a big chain dinner, but they have good food and service at reasonable prices so if that’s your gig, this place is for you. If you like the shine and polish of corporate joints, it’s not. But we dig on it.

I’ve gone to Nick’s several times and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. The wings are my favorite, I like their hot and sweet hot damn sauces. Cole slaw is always a must for me as well whenever I visit. They have a great beer selection and offer drink specials throughout the week as well. Overall, a nice casual place to enjoy a dinner and drink with friends.

Bar with decent food. I had their Ronnie Melt(Patty Melt). The bread and burger were good but not much cheese or sauce. Also the onions weren’t cooked enough for my taste. The Nick Chips were good… they are basically homestyle kettle chips. Served with BBQ sauce which was surprisingly good. One friend had the chicken strips and another had the fish & chips. They both enjoyed their food. Service was just ok. We were there around 4:30 on a Saturday and the place was not busy. I got the feeling that the young female waitresses would have paid more attention to us if we were regulars(or men). We had to ask for drink refills and our food was nearly thrown on the table at us. I am not rushing to go back, but I would go if someone else wanted to go there.

We were visiting from Illinois and a store clerk recommended this pub — Yum! It was Saturday lunchtime and crowded. Nice staff. We had the spinach dip with hot pita wedges, homemade chips, fries. I had a juicy, tasty grilled tilapia sandwich — HUGE! Mom had fish & chips. All very good!!! The only thing we did not care for were the chocolate chip cookies they hand out after — rather tasteless. Go for a sandwich, yummy homemade chips and some fun!

5 stars for me. I love variety of menu items and the friendly staff. This landmark of a restaurant is awesome. No wonder they’ve been in business for so many years. I especially like the«Hickory Nick.» And their signature home made chips are delicious with BBQ sauce. I will definitely be going back again soon.

This a burger review for the«Nick Jr.» one of burger’s named after the restaurant’s namesake. Nick’s a pretty cool stop for lunch or dinner if you’re riding on the bike trail from Yellow Springs to Xenia or from Beavercreek to Xenia. It’s right off the trail and they offer a nice patio for enjoying outdoor eating. Nick’s is also popular with bikers from the combustion engine ilk. Makes for a diverse dining experience! At dinner today, I ordered the Nick, Jr. burger with the works. Pretty yummy. For the burger alone, Nick’s get the 4.0. It’s supposed to be a 1⁄3 pounder but mine seemed more like a full half pound of beef. Here’s the run down: Burger: Tasty. Charbroiled and juicy like real burgers are supposed to be. The only complaint is that it was a little fatty. The Nick, Jr. was big enough for me to share half with my fiancé. Bun. Pretty good white bread bun. It held its own amidst Nick, Jr’s juices and I only had to resort to the fork on the last few bites. Special sauce. Yum. We guessed it’s mayo based. Condiments. So-so. I like my veggies so I would have been happier with double the onions, tomatoes and lettuce. Side Dishes. Delicious home cooked kettle chips with sweet barbecue sauce. They were so addictive that I ate most of them before starting on the Nick, Jr! The dill pickle spear looked a bit sad but actually tasted pretty good. Drinks. A 16 oz Blue Moon for $ 3? Who can beat that? Price. Nice and easy on the wallet. Before tip, we both got out of there with two dinners and shared beer for under $ 19. Ambiance. Love the patio, except since it’s outside we have to share the space with a lot of smokers(I know, I know… they get to enjoy a good meal too!) Funny signs posted everywhere that can generate some pretty lively discussion. The best of the best are in the Ladies Room. Service: Perhaps a little slow, but the servers are always friendly and caring… and we don’t mind if the food is worth the wait(which is was.) Bottom line: It’s our favorite«go to» place when we’re biking out near Xenia and we’ll definitely be back.

We really like going here. Been here several times, not had a bad meal! The burgers are delicious and my wife always gets the sexy club! Trivia night is alot of fun! Only thing that is sometimes a bad thing is the noise level. It can get really noisy in there.

I decided to give Nick’s another try since any place can have a bad day, which they definitely did on my previous visit. They have cleaned it up inside, and they now have a decent selection of good beers on draft. The Hickory Nick burger that I had(overcooked — I requested medium and got well-done) was still quite tasty and as a previous reviewer said, their home-made chips are indeed excellent. Please disregard my previous review/rating, they have improved considerably and are worth a visit.
