Roosters Wings

Absolutely loved the wings. We don’t have these places back where I’m from near Chicago (to my knowledge), so this is definitely a place I’ll look forward to going to whenever I take a trip out to Ohio. The service was great too.

I don’t eat in chains if I can avoid them at all.
Tonight was a first date, and my date recommended this place, so I obliged.
I got the Fried Chicken Salad. You can have the chicken in any of their wing sauces. I chose the sweet Thai sauce. Wow! The salad was large and fresh and came with 3 huge pieces of chicken, all coated in this delicious sweet, spicy wing sauce.
My date is from Philly and said his Italian sub was the best he’s had since moving here. It looked good, with plenty of meat and cheese.
Our service was great and our drinks never got empty.
Impressive!

Haven’t actually gotten our food yet but I can tell it’s going to taste rather saucy! Our waitress sat next to me while she was taking our order and I can’t tell if that’s standard procedure or not. She called my friend sweetie. I think she’s doing a good job.
The water here tastes as though it has made its way over several miles of limestone only to end up in one of rooster’s standard high quality plastic cups.
Our waitress is slowly transforming into a bunny as I type this review. You’ll have to see this one for yourself.
There’s a wide variety of entertainment programs on their multitude of tvs. With shows ranging from Tom and Jerry to ESPN to the Republican candidate debate, you’ll have no trouble at all avoiding social
If you like good service, a lively atmosphere and decent food, come to roosters.

Best wings in the area! They have more meat and sauce then any other place in Dayton. The beer is good and cheap!

Why can’t there be negative stars. Cold boneless wings, warm salad. We were given drinks by one server, order taken by another and our food was brought out by another one. Really who is our server? Not like it mattered bc they all sucked. Amanda G was on our ticket and then they stated that they don’t take coupons from their own website. WTF. so needless to say we won’t be back. I guess that’s what you get when u try to give a place a 2^nd chance. It doesn’t work.

Ordered the buffalo chicken sub and chili. The sandwich was outstanding. Nice zing, great bread, just the right mix of blue cheese. Chili was just soso. Too many beans for my liking. Menu said it came with cheese and onions, but I had to ask for them after I got the dish.
Service was phenomenal. Sat at the bar in a standing room only house. Ordered a $ 1.95 16oz Yuengling and had my food before I was half done with it. Lots of TVs here too. Looks like a good place to watch a game in Xenia.

If you just want to sit down and watch a football game or basketball game and have some wings and a beer this is a good place. My wings were good size and taste. They have many different sauces. Most are pretty good. Just basic fried foods. Their pizzas are good. Four stars because of the friendly staff.

It claims its a fun casual joint, and it really is. Emphasis on casual. I usually get the buffalo chicken pizza. They throw a buffalo wing on top to add a nice centerpiece to the dish.
Rooster’s is just OK. It’s a good place to watch a football game and grab some wings, wouldn’t necessarily write home about the place.

Great wings, pizzas & subs! I read some reviews on their sauces being too oily, but some are just made that way. Just ask your server on other sauces that are not oil based. (There are 7 of them I believe.) Family friendly atmosphere as well!

Been here twice, food horrible, won’t go back. Although friends go all the time. Greasy cold bar food not my thing.

Never had bad food from here, but you have to pay extra for side items like fries. And portions are smaller than most places.

Glad to have a decent wing place in Xenia but still in need of improvement. Staff was friendly but 3-​out-​of-​4 times my soup has been cold and not brought out as an appetizer as I asked. Wings are good so that’s a plus. Ordering for carry-​out has been messed up every single time with wrongly prepared orders or missing sauces and ingredients. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
I am hoping this is just a learning curve as new staff get used to how things work so I am willing to give them more chances.

Their wings are extremely nasty — greasy instead of crisp. Their sauces are oily as well, with little flavor other than oil/​butter/​grease. Burgers are decent, but no sides come with them, not even chips. By the time you add a side item, you could go elsewhere and get a GOOD burger.
Just another mediocre watering hole. At least the beer is cold.

Its a typical bar like place. The food was average but I liked the dumpster fries and the price is reasonable. Friendly wait staff but food was kind of slow. Overall and average cheap food bar.

Another just OK place. First DO NOT sit at the table by the entrance, there is an alarm that beeps every time someone goes in or out the front or back door.
The food is ok, I had some of the mini corn dogs and a burger with fries. Nothing very special about them. Typical bar food… much like Bdubs.
Also the waitress thought me and my friend were lesbians. Not that I have a problem with them, but you shouldn’t just assume sh*t.
