Rural King

It was not a good day at Rural King! We are under a heat advisory and either their a/​c is broken, or not turned on. The ladies room was in bad shape– and there was no soap in the dispenser. The cashier was unable to answer my question as to whether or not Rural King has a rewards program. And the biggest offense of all is that the popcorn machine was NOT EVEN TURNED ON! Without the lure of fresh popcorn, I’m not very inclined to make a special trip back

If you were raised to be a good olé boy this is where it’s at! My favorite store! Free popcorn and coffee right when you walk in. Great sale adds. Firearm prices are guaranteed to beat anyone in the area. Good prices on dog food. Something for everyone. Many necessities for life! Keep it up rural king

This place is a bigger Tractor Supply store. They have pretty much everything for the farmer, outdoorsman (or women) in you. We love this place and try to visit at least once a month.

Not well organized inside. Staff is not knowledgeable. Management disinterested in serving customers. Tried to buy mulch, purchased it at cash register inside was told to meet a loader out by patio. Waited there for 5−10min went back inside then was told to find a worker outside, another 5 – 10 min later still no luck. Finally found one poor worker whom seemed to be the only one working. He searched and searched and couldn’t find the type of mulch we had purchased. The employee radio management to no avail and eventually given answer they didnt have it. How do you sell something you dont have? Poor management!
Was given refund and crossed street to Lowe’s (was asked multiple times if we needed help).

I go to the Rural King in Lebanon and find great deals on items I need for my mini-​farm. They have EVERYTHING from tractor attachments and fencing, food and toys for your inside pets. They have grain, tack and medical supplies and smaller fencing for your goats, chickens, horses, sheep etc. And so far, the prices are better than TSC.
I wish they had local hay and straw for sale or would let local dealers sell from the parking lot (maybe some do). I think they would be a great addition to Rural King and save a lot of us from craigslist-​dealer headaches during hay season.
I am selecting moderate on price because most things I need are expensive (but fair prices) but their prices for garden and small animal items are inexpensive.

Finally a business in our old Walmart! And a good one at that! My family has found ourselves shopping at Rural King regularly ever since they opened their doors for the first time. First of all, they have great prices on things for our swimming pool (chemicals, toys, etc.) and also for our yard. (fertilizer, flowers, mulch.) I bought SO MUCH mulch there this year! They’re also the only place in town that sells our cat’s special food she likes. I think this is a perfect fit for Xenia.

Rural King is similar to a Tractor Supply, but larger. They have a large outdoor clothing section, a section for tools and tractor attachments. They have seeds and live plants, bird feeders and food. They even have cat litter and baby chickens. The prices are competitive with Tractor Supply and Walmart’s garden center. My biggest complaints is the store looks a bit dirty for being brand-​new, but the building was a Walmart 10 years ago and this kind of store can get away with a dirtier floor than most stores could.
