The food here was amazing! I had The Artist. It had great flavor with a lovely vegetable mix and polenta at the center. The ginger dressing was wonderful on my mixed greens salad. There were lots of vegetarian choices. Everything with wonderful flavor.

Recently visited family in Waldport and ended up here for lunch. It has a cozy atmosphere with views of the Pacific Ocean. The menu is large and covers a lot of «comfort food» selections including pizzas, seafood, burgers, wraps, and rice bowls, among other items. I started with the crab cakes, which were excellent, some of the best I’ve ever had, served with their homemade tartar sauce. Moved on to the halibut fish-n-chips, which came from a very good cut of fish. Fried to near perfection and served with seasoned fries. And«Portland Ketchup» on every table, my favorite. Will be back next time I’m in town to visit family.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place deserves a glowing one. I can’t believe it’s not rated 5 stars. My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and were blown away. We shared the Dungeness crab Benedict and the razor clams — they were both incredible. The service was great too!

Twice here and would go again. Fish Tacos are fabulous. Quesadilla is fabulous. Loved the Noodles. Seriously great food. The Fried Clams, the Crab Melt and the Clam Chowder are tasty and cooked perfect. The Seafood Lasagne is the most delicious thing I have tasted in a long time, but be ready for how rich and filling it will be. My mouth is watering right now thinking about how good it was. The Seafood Pizza is great. Service here is great. Such a unique place with some local artists work and music. Great place to eat passing thru, or to go back to again which we did.

I love and hate this restaurant. Pros *amazing food *sit-down and to-go orders *great mixed drinks *wide variety of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options Cons *super slow *overcharge you(double check your bill) *understaffed so sitting takes forever, it’s hard to get refills, *host was very rude *can be a long wait Needless to say we ate hear quite a few times because the food is really good, but I’d get so frustrated with the service that I didn’t want to go back. The waitresses and waiters were kind and friendly, but poor things are so overworked they forget little things like coffee refills, bringing silverware, asked for a straw that never got brought, but I know it’s not their fault. Each of the, are serving 7 plus tables. Breakfast Ordered the crab omelette which is delicious, but wanted more veggies, so I asked if I could have the crab omelette with extra veggies. The veggie omelette was $ 12 and the crab omelette was $ 17. My omelette was $ 22. The bill stated $ 10 extra for crab. Made NO sense to me, but didn’t notice it until we left. They were nice and let me sub goat cheese for no extra charge since I’m lactose intolerant. Lunch I ordered a gluten free Greek pizza to go. It came with a side salad. It was the best pizza! The gluten free crust is perfect. The only sell personal pizzas during the lunch hour. They only make their wood fire pizzas during the dinner hour, but mine was really good. There is a $ 1 – 2 up charge for gluten free crust or buns for sandwiches Dinner I had the taco salad. It was huge! Very good! My husband had the crab ravioli and loved it. My father had the seafood pot, sauce was amazing, but the portion was very small. My mother had the fish and chips. Luna’s fish and chips are better, but this place was average. Dessert The desserts are decadent. I had the gluten free brownie sundae, so delicious! I split it with my husband. The desserts are large! My parents had the marionberry cobbler a la mode! Delicious as well! Wide range of options all are very good! Drinks We recommend The Glacé, very light and tasty! Overall we loved the food, but hated the environment. If you have lots of grace and patience, you’ll be just fine. My recommendation is order it to go and it will be less of a hassle.

Ate here twice in 4 days! One night there was a wait and it was completely worth it. The dungenous crab salad was piled high and had a perfect lemon vinaigrette. They had a fun 3 man band playing(not too loud for conversation) that made the place lively. The hardwood floors and view of the sea made the fish-n-chips taste even better. The staff was jolly and the kitchy upside-down umbrellas hanging from the ceiling made it all the more fun. The prices were right for the generous amount of quality food. Loved it.

This is one of the best places in Yachats for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The offerings are diverse, and all are well prepared by their excellent chefs. The service is friendly and professional at the same time, and the prices are in line for the quality. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is that they are so popular it can get kind of crowded and loud sometimes, but the live music is always good, and it is certainly not a stuffy or formal atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Good things first. Great music and a lovely cozy little atmosphere inside, like walking into a pub in Ireland. The menu is quite broad which should be a warning but I was optimistic(places generally shouldn’t be serving pad thai, chili, mexican food, fresh seafood, burgers, pasta, and pizza all at once). We got a salad and a couple soups which came with a great, very fresh tasting slice of bread. Great bread, seriously! I ordered the mole enchiladas which were pretty good, the beans were very very good, but the problem here was the spanish rice. It was so bad, so burned and crusty and hard and old tasting. I could see immediately when it was brought to me that it was bad old rice, it was in hard crunchy chunks and I’m not sure why the person who plated the old rice and the server who brought it out thought it was okay. Two stars taken away for this because it was SO obviously bad to the naked eye and nobody cared enough to not serve it. The table next to us also ordered the enchiladas and I could see their rice was similarly hard and chunky, scraped from the bottom of an old pot. If your establishment is committed to serving 20 totally unrelated dishes of food from three different continents, do it carefully. Rice is easy to make and easy to mess up, make a fresh pot once in awhile and everyone will be happier.

I am SOSAD that they took the Salade Niçoise off the menu! No! But I am ever so grateful for the awesome waiter(I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) who put something similar together for me! Beautiful ahi tuna, lettuce, veggies, and that awesome ginger vinaigrette! It was absolutely my favorite thing on the menu for lunch, and now it is gone… but thankfully I can still get something close to it. Also I could not find the driftwood art that was there before? OR the naked lady art in the bathroom… so things seem to be changing a bit. The food(and tea!) is still delicious though!

Kudos to the Drift Inn for including gluten-free & vegan options on it’s pleasantly surprisingly eclectic menu. Unfortunately, it seems like the food is good/interesting ideas not carried out well. We started with the Figs in a Blanket. Steak wrapped figs. Sounds yummy, right? This might as well be called Warm Figs. The sweetness of the figs totally overpowered the steak, which was tough & so bland you couldn’t even taste it. Needs something badly to punch it up & balance the flavors. Maybe bacon wrapped instead? My husband had the seafood chowder which he said was excellent & he is not a chowder fan. I had the Sausage, corn & tomato soup, very flavorful. Disturbingly however, my soup was served with a slice of bread even though I had asked if the soup was gluten free & had ordered all GF options. Our waiter was nice, but that showed he obviously wasn’t really thinking about us or our order. Also, my fork was cleared away with the appetizer plates & when my dinner was brought I sat there until we could flag down our waiter for another. He did offer my husband a sample of a beer he was asking about, though, which I thought was very nice. On to entrees. My husband had the salmon with blackberry hazelnut sauce. The salmon was delicious & cooked well, but the sauce (more of a chutney really, very thick & chunky), though flavorful, was piled on so thick that instead of accenting the salmon it overwhelmed it. My husband ended up scraping most of it off. The cabbage & broccoli served with this dish was done well. I ordered the Teriyaki Vegetable Rice Bowl with chicken. Unfortunately, it was very heavy on the teriyaki & extremely light on the rice which was needed badly to cut the sweetness & heaviness of the teriyaki. I picked the chicken out & found myself unable to eat the rest. We opted out of dessert, dinner having been so underwhelming. The ambience here is nice & the live music was a nice touch, but the menu was poorly executed. We won’t be back.

I don’t expect a lot from restaurants in a small beach town but this place was a did. This was one of the few restaurants open during thanksgiving weekend in Yachats area. We ordered pizzas and they were a greasy mess! We also got the fries because there was an option of fries or salad with your pizza and the fries were ok. It was just a huge amount of food per person. I wouldn’t be going back!

On our way back home we stopped to get food, and it seems that the ratings for most restaurants in this small town are high due to tourist traveling through. I fully enjoyed our meal here. I just didn’t care for the service. They were short and seemed to have a bone varying attitude towards their customers. They did a great job, but it’s just the lack of building relationships that was off putting.

We got some food here on our last visit to Yachats. This restaurant seems to get a lot of hype but it wasn’t fulfilled on our visit, unfortunately. The entrées we got were mediocre and the service was slow because of the crowd. To add to this frustration the prices were higher than we would’ve expected. The one redeeming item they definitely have is their berry cobbler. They also have a pretty good chocolate cake.

I give it 3 stars. food not good! Over priced for what it is. Went with a group of 12 and everyone left disappointed. Went back only for desert but let’s be honest only went there because no other restaurants in yachats had desert. We called around. So we reluctantly went here. We got 3 deserts and they were all yummy. We by far loved the Marionberry cobbler with ice cream was the best. The chocolate cake had really good frosting and the cheese cake turtle style was awesome. For sure will only order the Marionberry cobbler next time. So for desserts 4 stars food 2 stars. Meet in the middle at 3

In a tourist-oriented spot like Yachats, I fully expected this to be bland, overpriced, and dull. But I was completely surprised at how good this place was. Their beer list was just ok(nothing spectacular), but the items were all drinkable. The food menu was all over the place – from samosas, to pad thai, to pizza. Usually, menus that have every type of food are terrible, but we went ahead and ordered the polenta, a calamari pizza which came with a side salad. For 3 people, it turned out to be enough food. The pizza was especially good, because, as I later found out, they have their own brick pizza oven out back. The restaurant was pretty crowded that day, so perhaps that’s why service was a bit slow. But, our waitress was accommodating and pleasant. At $ 12+ an entrée, it was a little more than I wanted to spend(especially for lunch), but overall nice atmosphere, good food, and good service.
