Holy crap, this place is wonderful! This was my first time here — my boyfriend has been coming at LEAST once a year since he was a teenager to jump the bridge and has been telling me that I have to go. There are upper and lower falls, each of which are unique in the type of falls they are. When I came here on a very particularly hot day in July it was pretty crowded, as one would expect, with mostly a younger crowd. We walked the trail from the parking lot down to the main area sitting rocks and ledges that look out onto deep stream that gives you full view of the 70+’ bridge that people like to jump off of. If that’s not your thing there are TONS of ledges of various heights for you to jump from to take a dip, and the water, while not freezing, is pretty cool and refreshing. The lower portion of the falls is a more chill spot — shallow flowing water with flatter rocks to sprawl out and even have a picnic on. There is a deep crevasse in one spot of the rocks where you can climb down in and let the water shoot you out downstream into the middle of another deep pool where people like to jump from ledges. All in all this place is any river rat’s dream and definitely the place you want to go if you’re looking for some place to chill in between some pretty awesome cliff jumping. It’s beautiful, there is SOME trash(i.e. broken bottles) thanks to lazy people, but you should definitely make your way here during the summer months. And there are a couple wineries nearby!

Ither then there being little to no parking for Moulton falls its probably one of the prettiest falls ive seen besides Multnomah falls… it van be a little crazy in the summer or around a holiday but this place is amazing. the bridge is like somethong out of a dream or a movie. The beautiful river is amazing. I havemt hiled pasted the bridge but ive heard it’s beautiful and not to hard to hike. I very much recommend to go on a weekday if your wanting to take photos or have some alone time. usually you might see one or 2 ppl walking or hiking. And definitely check out the waterfall or swimming hole right up the road across the street from the other parking lot. Its AMAZING. Definitely if your new to the area, passing through or havent been this is a MUST stop!

Beautiful place for a hike. Parking is very limited, so get there early(by 9:30am).

Beautiful area for a very easy day hike… Just a few miles give or take, depending on how long you want it to be. The maps on the tell, once you park for the hike at Moulton falls parking lot, are kinda confusing. There are a few trails up in the trees, but the longest trail is an old service road. Now, there are other trails to Silver Star and Bell mountain that I want to go on another day since they are 10 miles long! Just a nice short day out with the kids

Awesome swimming holes at both ends… summer gets busy with tourists and they don’t know how to act drive handle themselves or even use a cross walk use caution… water is cold people die every year from shock and drown, stay in the crosswalk and off the road… don’t leave you’re garbage ! And keep an eye on you’re kids

Really nice park for some decent hiking. There’s parking, good trails, and scenic waterfalls. There are some good spots for swimming, too(but the water is seriously cold!). The area near the parking lots have the easy trail, but if you head across the street, the hiking is a bit more rugged. There are picnic benches along the way, and you end up at a good-sized waterfall just near the intersection of Sunset Falls Rd and Lucia Falls Rd.(You can also park off the street here for the shortcut to those falls.) It’s a bit off the beaten trail, but that is also part of it’s appeal! You won’t see a tenth of the visitors that Multnomah Falls gets. You can cover most of the trails in under two hours, depending upon how often you stop to take pictures!
