I was here May 8, 2016, attending a JBT Youth Bowling Tournament. Went to the restaurant and ordered the fried clams and french fries. «Great choice! Our clams are awesome» my server says. YAY! They come, looking great. I take a bite of the first one … well, I SHOULD say, I *tried* to take a bite! They were the toughest, most rubbery fried clams I’ve ever had. But, I persevered! I come from Maine stock, and we know our clams. I made three attempts and could have only gotten through these with another row of VERY sharp teeth. The server comes by asking how everything is. I explain the clams are just too tough to eat. She sighs(in sympathy, exasperation, irritation? I’ve no clue) and says they could make me some new ones. I declined. My teeth just weren’t up to it. She came back about 10 minutes later and the same clams were still on the plate. She asked me if I wanted a box. Hmmmm, for the inedible clams. Nah, I think to myself. «No, thanks. I couldn’t eat them because they were so tough». «Oh» was her reply and then, «I’ll be right back with the check». My hopeful, naïve side hoped that the check would have the clams taken off. I’d only eaten three of the approximately 15 clams. Sadly, they chose to charge me the full amount. So, in turn, I’m choosing to offer this review as a warning to all. This could have been a 5 star review. Nice people. Cute restaurant/bar. Nice menu. :sigh:

I just moved back to Yakima after being gone 20 years. My parents and I ate hee last week and we were all very impressed! The prime rib was good and reasonably priced. My Mom said the pot roast was the best she’d ever had! My Dad liked the steak better than his favorite restaurants… I highly recommend this place! One kind of funny thing: they serve instant coffee in the restaurant, but ask for real coffee, they have it in the casino.
