This place is 8 minutes from our house And the bagels are wonderful. We tried their veggie cream cheese today with carrot, scallion and radish. It was delicious! Our bakers dozen bagels were still warm when we took them out of the bag. They only take cash and 13 bagels are $ 10.50. They remind me of NYC bagels and are worth every penny.

We finally got the chance to try Bagel Train after hearing things about it for a long time. I’m from NY, so I know what a good bagel should taste like. This spot definitely has the best NY style bagels I have had here in PA. The customer service left a lot to be desired on our first visit… We called ahead for a dozen bagels so they would be ready when we got there(coming from Newtown). We asked for them to be sliced and was told they don’t do that(strange), okay… we got there and they told us we never called ahead. They did not have our order ready for us which was very frustrating and then had to wait in line… One thing I cannot stand is when a business representative tells a customer they didn’t do something. I didn’t talk to a ghost, I called and talked to a man who took my order, so please don’t tell me that I didn’t call. I was even told they ‘didn’t have their phones on at that time’(?) it was like 9am — and I didn’t imagine it. Moving on… The bagel sandwiches were delicious, as were the bagels with scallion cream cheese. Hoping for better service in the future and will decide then if we will keep them in our regular rotation.

Love bagel train! Best bagels ever, especially the everything bagels. I always buy a bunch and bring them back to dallas and freeze them — they freeze really well. It’s cash only and the line will be out the door on weekends and before holidays but totally worth the wait. Rather than toasting their bagels, try putting some butter on them first and then broiling them in the oven — so much better than toasting!

This place is a treasure. Don’t listen to anyone who would say«go to einstein for more variety.» They obviously have no idea what a bagel is. Einstein sells bagel shaped dinner rolls. These are the real deal. Crusty on the outside, chewy in the middle. Best I’ve had outside New York. I can’t speak for the coffee. Who cares? Anyone can make a decent cup of coffee. Great bagel shops are few and far between. Come here for amazing bagels.

Bagels. Really good bagels. And whoa! is this place popular. If you’re craving bagels on a Sunday AM, order ahead and steel yourself for all the glares of death from the patrons in the long line, as you head directly to the register. The vegetable cream cheese was really delish.

I have grown up in this area and have been going to Rjs for a long time. The service has dropped a lot since I was a younger. It used to be a hole in the wall joint with great food. Now it has turned more fast food like and the bagels and portions are much smaller. It’s really a shame since this place used to be awesome when I was in HS. They also occasionally will mess up a pretty simple order.

I’ve been coming to Bagel Train ever since I can remember. It is easily the best bagel shop in the area(much better than RJ’s). I always get a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on an egg bagel. It never disappoints. They fry the egg fresh for every order(no microwave like many bagel chains) and their bagels are the closest to a NY bagel you can get outside of NY. Some people knock their old fashioned cash only style, but I think it adds to the uniqueness of this place. If you’re looking for great bagels, great sandwiches, coffee, or all of the above, go no further than Bagel Train.

I go to bagel train pretty often, I am never disappointed when it comes to their bagels or sandwiches. The owner is usually really nice to me and my 1 year old. He definitely does get overwhelmed because the place is pretty much always packed because I’m not kidding they have the best bagels so sometimes he isn’t as friendly but not rude either, just human! Hands down my go to place for breakfast and everyone I work with is equally as obsessed. Thank you bagel train!

I’m super excited to have found this place. I am originally from NY and we have a ton of bagel shops all over, which was something I really missed after moving out here. It’s pretty rare to find and usually the bagels are just disappointing — not this place. The bagels here are fresh, soft, fluffy and they have a decent selection of flavors. My only compliant would be that it’s a little more pricey than what I am used to in NY, but that won’t stop me from coming here to treat myself to a bagel once in a while. Recommended!

Hands down my favorite bagel place in the area! Every time I am visiting family j have to make a stop in for an egg and cheese on an everything bagel. So good! The bagels are a large size and very fluffy. Very generous with toppings. Cash only!

Freshly made bagels daily. Crunchy on the outside, doughy on the inside! Their salt bagels are my favorite, with their everything bagels as a close second! Their coffee is very delicious as well!

Came here Mother’s Day and the line was out the door! Fortunately they were very quick and I only waited about five minutes. I ordered a lox bagel(toasted pumpernickel, with scallion cream cheese) and a coffee. The bagel was decent, but there wasn’t much lox on there and they don’t have capers, which was a bummer. The cream cheese, however, was ridiculously flavorful and yummy. Coffee? Not so much. Very weak and tasted like something you’d get at a diner at 3 am. Id love to go back and give this place another shot, but I could in all seriousness go to Einstein bagels and have a better variety and a better meal for less money.

Located in a small strip of stores in Yardley the Bagel Train arrives on time with its delicious selection of hot bagels, arabica coffees and that feeling only a locally owned business can provide. Tip: Pre-order your bagels for holidays, bulk purchases or if you like them sliced. Fast and friendly service. Prices are good and the quality is high! Lots of menu choices for foods. I always look for a pork roll egg and cheese. On a everything bagel and a large black coffee it was superb. I am always a proponent of supporting local shops owners and keeping the money in the community. Bagel Train is always on schedule with its food and service. Come on in and see for yourself.

I LOVE this place — I make it a point every single time I’m home to go there and get a bagel with sausage, egg and cheese and a coffee. By far the greatest breakfast sandwiches in Yardley!

Slowly, but surely, Bagel Train has become my primary bagel source. While I still miss Bagel Junction in Newtown, the B Train has found a way into my heart and stomach with regularity. My son and I stop in once a week before school to grab a breakfast of Onion Bagel, Butter and Swiss. He goes for Yoohoo, while I pour my first coffee of the day. The bite, texture and taste are exactly what we love(and kvell over). This has become our routine. Bonding is a wonderful side dish with the bagels. Given the importance it has taken on in our lives, and the high quality and exceptional taste sensations generated, a bump to 5 Stars is overdue.
