Frank did some head shots of me. I typically don’t like photos of me but this time, it was hard to choose which ones were best. He was easy to work with, did not take up a lot of my time, and sent me the copies the next day.

You can hire a photographer(some hobbyist working out of their home) or you can hire an artist someone with 30+ years of experience who will truly bring out the best in you Frank Pronesti is truly a master of his craft. I was looking to get some Head-shots & Portfolio photographs for my Goddaughter. I had tried to do them myself but you can truly see the difference with someone who has 30 years experience. He was great with my goddaughter and put her at ease. Through his lens he made an already beautiful little girl even more radiant. Especially happy with the results and she has already booked jobs with her new head-shots.

I am kind of at a loss of words with my experience in working with the owner of this studio, Frank Pronesti. This was the first time we hired a photographer, as we are recently engaged, and wanted some photos to document the event and use for our save the dates. We shopped around the area and got a few quotes and Heirloom Studio, we thought, had the best price. We could not have been more wrong! Talk about the old bait and hook situation. Granted, I am not familiar with the terminology that some photographers use in their pricing, but I interpreted«digital portfolio album» as a digital copy of the photos that were taken. That was very much a mistake. After the photo session, which cost $ 100 to do, he said that if we want to buy a photo, a single photo, it would be an additional $ 65 an image! An image! We had many back and forth conversations via email and phone and although I felt I had been misled, I was trying to work out a reasonable deal to get a handful of the images. I even went so far to forward other quotes that I received to show how over-priced he was for similar work. Every«offer» he countered with, which in his eyes was him making a concession, was still over the initial price of the other photographer(who by the way is Devon John Photography and has a five star rating with incredible reviews). Our conversations finally ended after about three weeks of exchanging emails and phone calls and his«best offer» was $ 225 for five images. So, for five digital photos, he wanted $ 325($ 100 for the initial sitting and $ 45 an image). To put that in relation to Devon’s pricing, for $ 350 you get every image that is taken during your photo shoot. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want to break your bank on a photographer.
