I have lived in this area for over 40 years and this is one of the best Chinese restaurants and also extremely consistent every time we have eaten from there! I can’t praise this restaurant enough.

Love the food here, and it is always very good. We get dinner from this place about twice a month. The only problem is that we called tonight, Monday 5÷11÷15 and we get a phone message that they are closed on Mondays. The website and the Unilocal page both say Open 7 days a week. I was not feeling well and did not want to cook dinner. I would have taken something out or planned to get take out from somewhere else, but we did not find out they are actually closed on Mondays until 6:00pm. I would recommend Peking House to anyone who wanted good, fresh, Chinese food, except on Monday night because as I just sadly found out, They are CLOSED Mondays.

Peking House occupies the former location of May’s Kitchen. Though it’s been a long time since anyone I know has ordered delivery from Peking House, I’m pretty sure it does have that option. The convenience of delivery coupled with it’s close location is what earns it 3 stars rather than 2, because honestly the food is nothing exciting.
If you’re lucky you’ll order something they do well, or just catch them on a good night, but there is always the chance you’ll end up with Chinese food that looks decent… but tastes like nothing. When Peking first opened and we orderd pickup I was shocked by the lack of flavor. Once or twice since then and it’s been better, but far from great.
