Lynn delivered a fantastic massage. This was my first time at the spa. I was greeted warmly upon my arrival and Lynn listened to what I wanted to achieve with the massage. I loved all the oils and scents used. And I probably could have drank a gallon of the citrus water; it was so good! :) I definitely will be returning and highly recommend this spa for massages.

Normally I wouldn’t give names but I wouldn’t want anyone else subjected to this poor of service! Horrible experience. From the moment I walked in I was being rushed. Hair stylist Kim was mixing color before I had even picked out colors and I was told that since I had a groupon(only reason I tried the salon) she wouldn’t be able to put in enough foils. I had paid for a full highlight which turned out to be half with a few around the base! I was told four times that visit that there would be an up charge! one for color since I wanted low lights(which I paid), the amount of color she needed to use would be an up charge next time. Also up charge for getting my hair blown out! The most insulting part came when she washed my hair out. Mind you there had been an assistant with her the whole time(Caroline, who did my blow out and did a fantastic job!) Kim says«I’m going to let you brush it out» so I think the assistant standing there is going to brush me out for my cut until she hands ME! The client the brush!!! Kim, «yeah i mean you» spa service?, I think not!!! The color, you can barely tell there are highlights. Cut, nothing special, service insulting! not a way to keep clients or stay in business! One star for my blow out.

I had a deep tissue massage with Nicole. First she asked me what pain or discomfort I was experience which I explained to her. Well, the rest is history. Nicole put the pressure where it was needed most and I have to say it was the best massage I have ever had. She’s very friendly and is great at what she does. I highly recommend Nicole and will be back.

Heather, while I appreciate your effort, please know that nothing was«sorted out», my review stands and one star is still very appropriate. I did receive a message from you after our phone conversation in which you mildly lectured me and tried to «persuade» me to give you the name of a loved one who had tried your services and had been horrified by the way the stylists talked about the previous client. Even though I was very clear that I would not, under any circumstances give you the name of this person because I was concerned about privacy and the lack of professionalism, you wrote this: «If you change your mind and feel comfortable, I would like to look back in our system to see who provided services for XXXX to ensure whatever continued training is needed is provided for them. I understand you are not happy with our company, but there is still a positive impact from the entire community when we do well.» I resolved the matter by getting a refund from Groupon.

For as long as I can remember, visiting Yardley has been a huge part of my growing up. Whenever we proceeded through the traffic light on Main Street, I couldn’t help but wonder what *that*(meaning The Face and Body Spa) building was like. One day, I finally took the opportunity to check it out. The Face and Body Spa is clean, rejuvenating, relaxing and relaxing. One part delightful boutique, another part salon and makeup haven, and the spa is like a world of its own. Although the most important part of this place is the people who work there. There is a degree professionalism and then there is passion… and Face and Body Spa’s technicians exude both with the utmost care and responsibility that builds solid relationships. I have received all of my routine facials here for two years and I always look forward to seeing the familiar faces at the desk and my esthetician. The owner definitely has a pulse on what customers want. I commend her for keeping her customers in the know through her emails with promotions and events. Have you ever received«spa dollars» towards services, products, etc. for referrals and for specials on services? If anything, it *pays* to be a Face and Body Spa customer.

I brought my daughter for a cut and style/curl before a dance. I heard my daughter aske for a trim for her very long hair. The stylist took off 3−4″ — ladies with long hair you know how traumatic this feels. The stylist did not blow out her hair and only curled the bottom half — the top was flat. The stylist also brushed my daughter’s head so hard that she had raw/bloody patches on her scalp. We might have been at the salon for a little over an hour and this cost me $ 80.00. My daughter’s hair is significantly shorter, uneven, and choppy. The stylist did offer to fix her hair but I’m not letting someone who made my kid’s head bleed have another go. We went to another salon and it took that stylist over two hours to fix(as best as she could without taking more length off) and re-style my daughter’s hair. We won’t be back.

A friend and I had several services done over the weekend(facial, massage, cut, color) and I have to say my overall experience and rating would have been higher had I skipped the salon portion. Everyone likes a massage, but I thought the facial was really relaxing. They customized both experiences with products and scents and they asked questions about what you wanted to focus on the most. The salon was ok. There were separate rooms instead of an open floor, so I couldn’t really talk to my friend. Both of our colors turned out nice, but when we got back to the car we discovered we had uneven layers and CHUNKS taken out of our hair. This almost completely ruins spa experience because the effects of our bad haircuts will last longer. Now we have to wait for it to grow out before going to someone else to fix it. This would be one star if not for the spa.

I just wanted to add that this place has an excellent assortment of body products, where they hand-blend any of their numerous essential oils into a carrier base. The scents are amazing, and the oils and packaging they use are very nice. Their jewelry was also fine quality, unique and really gorgeous in a refined but not too expensive way. I wish I’d purchased a pair! I ended up splurging on the sale rack, which featured a lot of wonderful creams, scrubs, soaps and oils for $ 5 a piece. The people at the front counter were very accommodating, kind and were not pushy. I like that they are open 7 days a week.

I came here for the first time a couple of years ago before they expanded. I’ve been to other spas but came back to this one because of the care shown by the staff and the serene ambience. I’ve been back for occasional manicures and pedicure. When I really want to indulge myself, I have gotten a facial and a shoulder massage for my aching neck and shoulder. Nikki and Annmarie are both wonderful at the mani and pedi. They are careful and considerate. Everything is clean and smells good. I don’t smell the nail polish. The whole décor helps me to relax.
