I’ve had the white and veggie pizza and they are both amazing! Awesome food at an even better price. I highly recommend this place.

We have tried every pizza place around and this is our family’s favorite. The pan pizza in particular! The whole family loves. I love the buffalo chicken shiracha pizza. So good! The only negative is the pickup do to the placement of the cash register/front door. But I can live with that

I used to stop by sometimes during lunch hour since I worked close by to grab a slice of pizza. The pizza is decent, average taste-nothing special but it does its job if you are hungry and need a quick bite to eat, but only try the pizza. I thought I’d be adventurous and try their chicken cheese steak, it was one of the worst I had, no flavor, just salty chicken, it was awful. So get the pizza, its not bad.

Mmm wow, I went in just wanting something to eat after getting a flat on the road and found an array of tasty hoagies on their menu. Didn’t take long before The Greek burger popped out on me off the lunch specials board with spinach and feta! I couldn’t stop at the burger though, in the window was pizza by the slice and I had to try the neatly dressed chicken bacon ranch. There was so much appeal in the food’s look and description alone and it did NOT disappoint. The pizza came out first and and it was a great blend of the meats and not too little or too much ranch. The crust, I could eat alone in loaf form. Then the burger… Meat-thick tender juicy, spinach neatly hanging over its patty with chunks of soft feta and the rest of the fixings sitting neatly on top. The bun I want to call picture perfect, or maybe it was because I could see and taste the love it was buttered with. Place was cozy but no need to be bumping or rubbing elbows and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly. II don’t even live in the bordering states and I know I’m going to need to return soon.

Dropped in for a slice, owner asked if I could wait a minute and a half for a fresh pie, rather than him heat some older slices up for me. I thought this was nice. With the looks of a town pizza hall, Traditional thin crust, fresh dough. I enjoyed it, will come back to try sandwiches at a later visit. The establishment was simple and very clean.

Great spot to grab a quick slice. They also have great sandwiches. There’s been a few different owners since i’ve been going there but not too much has changed, there for a definitely recommend this place.

Used to be better under previous ownership. The pizza was fresh and my last three consecutive experiences with the pies were not so good. The pies were not fresh and were warmed and the bottom was burnt.

We ordered tonight for the first time expecting an amazing Sicilian pizza. What we received 30 min past our 45 min window was a generic, bland, canned sauce, shop rite graded cheese, canned dough, easy bake pizza. We would have gotten faster service from a pizza chain for less then half the price.

Been eating here since we moved to town a year ago. They are the only ones around that deliver. Usually Delivery service is pretty good but last 2 times its been over an hour for a pizza. 1hr 20 min for a pizza tonight. I asked the girl and she said they have been getting busier. Awesome! Add a driver or the problem will fix its self.

I have ordered take out from here several times, being in Yardley boro some times parking can be a problem, however the food quality here kind of makes up for the hassle of parking, they take pride in what they serve and should you not be pleased they’ll do just about anything to improve your experience(never had an issue, others have) nice place and always clean

I ordered delivery, a pizza and French fries. The French fries were crinkle-cut and delicious. So many restaurants nowadays rely on the cheaper coated fries, so I was happy to see something different. The cheese on them was good as well. As for the pizza, I was a bit disappointed. It was a personal size with mushrooms and onions. It was a bit soggy so that every time I picked up a piece, I got dough and no toppings came with it. The sauce had a distinct flavor which was not my taste, but that’s more personal preference. I didn’t eat most of it because of these reasons. The service was very quick and both the people on the phone and delivery man were helpful and courteous. I will be back to try their sandwich selection.

We’ve had take-out or eat-in a few times, and we like it a lot. The owner is super nice and he really tries to please his customers. Their basic crispy thin crust pizza does the job, and they have slices for take-out. We recently tried their sandwiches and they were surprisingly good – the BLT and the cheesesteak were exactly how you want them(good bread, good meat, well-constructed), and they serve your classic crinkle-cut fries. YAYGOODFRIES!

The pizza is good. The guy with the beard is funny. The answer girl has the personality of a rock. I can’t tell if the owner is cool or not. Seems to work hard though.

We’ve been on a search for great pizza as of late, because Vince’s and Villa Rosa are underwhelming and I experienced bad service and mistakes too many times from Franco’s. All I got from Yardley Pizza was soggy, overpriced pizza… too bad. So far the best I’ve found is La Villa in Morrisville, but it’s a bit of a hike for Yardley residents.

James, Thanks for your note and response. I have updated my review to not mention you and apologize for my confusion. I’ll also admit that I didn’t sit in an area where I could easily see the«order/pay here» sign and that is key information. Given that your restaurant was empty it might have been a nice time to say«hello, welcome to Yardley Pizza… come on up when you’re ready to order». I hope your camera can catch the tone of your manager not welcoming us but yelling at my 6 year old, because that’s really the main concern here. If he’s comfortable having the first impression of your restaurant to a family being that negative, what kind of tone does that set for the rest of your staff? Not a good one, James, and to your point, not what we expected. I just hope my experience was a rare one and that we caught your manager on an off day — we all have them. I truly do wish your business much success but just want to share that positive customer service, rapport, friendliness and service with a smile are really important in building a successful local business. I hope you can benefit from this feedback. Regards, RA

I guess I did not do Yardley Pizza any favors by going to DeLorenzo’s Tomato Pies last Saturday night. By my taste, DeLo’s has one of the best pies I have eaten, and I have been a fan of theirs for more than 30 years. So, coming to Yardley Pizza for the next slices really puts them in a bad place. Apologies before I go any further. Anyway, the floor plan is quite nice. Bigger than expected inside, and comfortably casual with sufficient space between tables for a private conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful. Tuesday is Dollar Slice Day(I didn’t know), so the price was right! The two plain slices I had were fairly typical of the American Pizzeria. Triangular cuts with decent, if thin, sauce and mass produced cheese. A little oil on the surface, but not enough for a big drip. Alas, the slices were quite ordinary in every respect. Nothing to sit up and take notice about, but certainly a better than average competent American slice of pizza. The crust held up well, and did not droop under the weight of the toppings. The bite held its crunch to the very last. It was only the sauce and cheese that missed the mark. Again, not bad, but not eye-opening. As I said, DeLo’s is a very difficult act to follow.

Here’s a quick rundown of the three pizza shops in Yardley Boro… The sauce on the pizza at Vince’s Pizza is far too sweet, the cheese and toppings are minimal, the crust is paper thin and the guys at the counter are borderline rude. The freshness of the ingredients at Franco’s Pizza is highly suspect and the crust is so bland and flavorless you would be better off eating the box. The pizza at Verrelli’s Yardly Pizza is always fresh and flavorful. The toppings are generous and of the highest quality. The sauce is mild and well seasoned and the crust has good body and bite. By far some of the best Pizza I’ve ever had. You will also experience a pleasant enviorment and friendly staff. So far I have only had the Neopolitan crust, but the Pan crust also looks delicious and is definately on my «must try» list.

This is what a neighborhood pizzeria should be. The pizza is excellent. The new owner has done a great job of giving Yardley a family friendly, low cost restaurant that is exactly what you hope it is.

The quality of the pizza from this well known shop in the center of downtown Yardley depends on how long they cook it. If the pizza maker overcooks it, which happens about 40% of the time, the pizza is fair, sometimes poor. If it is not overcooked, the sauce isn’t vaporized and the pies are very good with the correct ratio of sauce and cheese. The product is, of course, ordinary American East Coast pizza. Their tomato pies aren’t true tomato/Trenton/Old World pizza. The french fries and other fried food is a bit different than that from most delis and pizzerias. The calzones are great and almost impossible to overcook. Lunch specials are often cheap. Jim Verrelli, who used to work here a few years ago, came back in 2012 and bought the place. The changes for good — new flooring, new arrangement of tables, better service upfront — slightly outweigh the changes for the worse — discontinuation of medium pies and no longer being open on Sundays. I very much like and appreciate the«No more than 4 unsupervised minors allowed in store at a time» sign on the front door.
