okay, maybe i’m alone on this one. i have had some very aged books on the shelf for some time, and they just look so sad and decrepit. i collect old hardbacks and it kills me when you can’t even pick them up anymore. luckily, for $ 75 apiece, jim and pam patched up my nerd toys and now they look as good as… super-​old-​but-​no-​longer-​disintegrating. they were very careful to maintain the integrity of the original spines, and they blended them beautifully with new leather as needed. a truly masterful job.
