Excellent service and food. I had been in and around the town for about a week and had been trying out several local breakfast/brunch establishments. The restaurant was clean and had a home type of feel. I had the Eggs Benedict and Corned Beef with home fries. I would have to say that this was the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. The Hollandaise, Corned Beef, and home fries were excellent. Everything was hot and seasoned very well. Rather than having to order coffee there was a self serve coffee area, which was a nice change. A definite breakfast stop if your in the area.

We drove up from Portland on Route 1 which is a delight as the simple scenic drive(30 minutes), rather than the interstate to the café in Yarmouth(23 minutes). What a wonderful little café, but get there before 9:30ish. You will be invited to get your own coffee toward the back of the café. Great menu, however at 9:30 they were out of crab. This was disappointing to my friends as they all wanted selections that had crab. We were not told that crab was unavailable until it was time to order, forcing them to reconsider their orders. I do not care, I just like breakfast! They have a coffee club where you leave your own coffee mug to use when you visit. Our server had an English accent, and being an anglophile it made everything that much better. It was not a long wait. Three of us ordered a large orange juice. The juice arrived in small glasses. One of us remarked that if we ordered a small orange juice, it would come in shot glass. The meal was fantastic. Everything in my plate was finished off in no time. No one spoke while eating, a sign that all of us were focusing on a great breakfast. The dinning room was packed when we left, and I mean packed. The line for seating was growing, or should I say folks were queuing up at a fast rate(as the English say). Now it is off to enjoy the ride back on Route 1.

Okay the ambiance may be lacking but the food makes up for it. I had a simple but perfectly cooked breakfast of eggs and crispy hash. Would absolutely go back despite harried waitress.

Hostess/server rude at «hello». Had to seat ourselves, not a big deal if there’s a sign up front and the server doesn’t roll her eyes when a handful of customers(including a gentleman in crutches) ask if we are supposed to seat ourselves. Tables dirty, while I was wiping mine off the server threw menus on the table as she walked by. Not feeling it.

Great breakfast! Great service! Great price! And self service coffee… so my cup is always full. My husband got the pork pie… Soooo delicious. I got the western omelet which was equally delicious. So glad we found this place.

We stopped here on our way to Bar Harbor. It was the perfect way to begin our vacation. After driving through the night, we needed coffee and breakfast. I saw a picture on Unilocal of the lobster eggs benedict and it was as good as it looked. My husband had a western omelet and that was delicious as well. Coffee, delish! A very good little homey breakfast spot and very easy access off the main highway. Service was prompt and attentive and very friendly!

Stopped here for breakfast while on vacation in Freeport. The food was home cooked and the service was very fast and friendly. I love the self serve coffee and tea bar with the mug collection it adds a whimsical touch. Freeport can get a little stuffy and monotonous with touristy cafes Forest Falls was a nice cozy alternative.

Friendly service and clean. Kind of hidden away in a small office park. The food was okay. My omelette did taste a bit bland though, but other food I saw looked good. I think this place may only be open during the summer months, but not sure. I would definitely come back again when visiting the area.

I’ve living been in Yarmouth for over a year now, and finally tried this café yesterday for breakfast. I had the breakfast bowl which consisted of scrambled eggs, cheddar, sausage, homefries, and sausage gravy, my husband had a more traditional breakfast of eggs, sausage, homefries, english muffin and a pancake. Everything we ate was very good, portions were more than enough, service was friendly and attentive, we liked the self serve coffee bar. Great small town café feel. We will definitely return, we regret not trying this place sooner.

My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and we’re always looking for the quiet, friendly, local breakfast spot that’s tucked away. This place had exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We both got the Fall’s Special with different items so that we were able to share. The next time we find ourselves in Maine, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Roadtripping through the area, and being a breakfast spot connoisseur, we wanted a nice«local» breakfast. Something basic, homey, and good. This place delivered better than hoped. The Forest Falls Café is officially brain-marked as one of my favorites. Everything was wonderful.

My friend and I we’re looking for a solid hangover breakfast and we found the perfect spot. It’s and small place but we were lucky to get a table and since it was a busy Sunday morning, it took us a while to make our order. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and several people working at the counter. The portions are big and really filling so a lot of people take the rest home. My french toast was good and exactly what I needed. It’s nothing fancy but a nice little breakfast restaurant.

Best breakfast we had in a long time! The owner is so nice and the food was delicious!!! Lobster Eggs Benedict… Come on!!! Out of this world! Blueberry pancakes were a hit too. Super home-y atmosphere and quality food. Found this spot while on vacation in Freeport. Just about 10 minute drive off the beaten path. Great escape from tourist-ville. Everything was awesome! Can’t wait to go back.

We stopped here on our way to Acadia. A nice café just off the highway– very reasonably priced and delicious. Great selection of coffee & tea, and obviously breakfast and lunch. Just what we needed before a long day of hiking.

I LOVELOVELOVE the food here. So why am I giving this only 3 stars? Because the dishes are always disgustingly dirty. My water glass was so brown in the bottom I couldn’t drink any of it. The silverware is always dirty, as are the coffee mugs. It’s a huge internal struggle when I want a delicious breakfast because I want to eat here but am mildly afraid because the dishes are always so disgusting. If they invested in some new water glasses(the ones they have are too gunked up to be saved) and paid more attention to the cleanliness of their other dishes they would get 5 stars hands down! Their hash is delicious and crisp, the home fries are never soggy, and my eggs have always been cooked perfectly!

Wonderful local café. Brenda makes the best poached eggs I have ever had! Perfect everytime! The sevice is fast and the food delicious. My associate and I work right around the corner from this hidden gem so we are lucky to enjoy the wonderful lunch and breakfast options often. I love recommending this café to others because I know they will always be well taken care of.

The owner and staff were SO incredibly nice. I mean just the sweetest people. They even came out to greet our dog and gave him a humongous dog treat. They have two dog water bowls outside and an super pretty outdoor table with an umbrella. We had no idea this place existed, but happened upon their Café sign and awesome giant tuna bronze weathervane, when walking the trails around it. We had a yummy iced tea and are absolutely going back for food. My husband spent the next ten minutes in the trails talking about how good the people’s food looked and how cute the inside was. We give this place two thumbs up, way up. We’re already planning our trip back, next time for the food that smelt ridiculously yummy. We’re considering sitting outside or taking it back to the trails /park where they have picnic tables and a river view. Seriously, it took four treats to get our dog to leave the front lawn it smelt so good!

Stopped for some lunch! Cute little café! The clam chowder was very good! The coffee is set up gas station style, not a bad thing, and you can bring your own cup as well for a discount! I got the haddock sandwich and opted for the homemade chop instead of fries. The chips weren’t that great, very plain. The haddock sandwich itself was ok. Nothing to get to excited about, seemed like something I would buy from the freezer aisle!

This breakfast place offers a cozy environment with some outside seating. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The sausages that came with my french toast was really good. Food is not too oily and seems like the kind that comes out of Grandma’s kitchen with it’s home made goodness.

What a great find for a cozy breakfast before a full day of touristing! The dozens of coffee mugs in the«keep your own mug here» area make it clear that this is a locals spot, but us outsiders were welcomed with a smile and warm service. Our waitress was a hoot — immediately clicking with our family chemistry. Of the food, I thoroughly enjoyed my lox and bagel, and there were no complaints from the rest of the table — a solid way to start the day!
